After many years of talking about DVC to my husband and saying what fools we are that we did not buy in years ago when our children were little, I finally got him to sit for the presentation. This was after a stay at the Yacht Club, with an AP rate, and paying over $300 a night..granted it was one of the busiest times...

Our guide was incredible and broke it down so that a person who has worked with numbers and money all his life could not argue with it. We finally bought in, and now we have to learn the whole DVC approach to WDW. We have lots of reading material to go through but I could not be happier and am looking forward to my DVC experience at WDW and everywhere else we are entitled to as members of DVC....

We had a similiar situation 4 years ago. We stayed at the beach club paying cash and on the last day of our vacation i talked my husband into meeting with a DVC rep. He was very stubborn saying that all timeshares are a "scam" but I convinced him to go and just listen. After the presentation, we bought on the spot! We've been enjoying it ever since. Best thing we ever did!
