DH and I got the apartment!!!!!!!! 
And come to find out we were approved for the apartment without our future roommate's help. I found out that I have excellent credit and I'm so happy to hear that will all the past due hospital bills and the stuff we went through with our last landlord. We have a young christian gentleman moving in with us and he's very excited about it. He's 22 and he's ready to be out from under mom and dad's roof. 
Our friend has already been a blessing. We got the electric bill in his name and there was no deposit. Had we done it in DH's name it would have been a $150 deposit AND the past due balance before they even considered turning it on. I got the water and phone bill in my name and we are all set! I officially start my 2nd job on Thursday and I can't wait. Looks like things are finally working out and I just need to remember who I owe all my thanks to. I won't say, but those of you that know me, know whom I speak of. 
I just wanted to share some more good news with you guys and let you know that DH and I are into our new place. All of our stuff besides what we brought here to our friend's house is in storage still, but we've got a futon to sleep on the essentials to get us through until we get our items out of storage. Hopefully we'll have that done by next Sunday or Monday. 
Send some pixie dust our way and hopefully DH and I will be moved in by next Monday.

$60 of it was NSF fees. Well anyway we were concerned about the rent check out there for $155.00 and where the money was coming from to pay it. DH had just put his paycheck in the bank and that got us back to the positive if only by $35. This was a Saturday and I knew that I had a good chance of making good money because of the long shift I was working. Here's the short of it....are you all sitting down....
