We did a BLT add on!!!

I just got off the phone and did my 30 point add on at BLT!!!

I wanted to do 50 points, but with my DD heading off to college in the fall (and my son in grad school) it really was better to do just what we think we need for the time being.

We did think about BCV and going the resale route, but have not seen any small contracts with our June UY since we got back on the 5th of August. We were on the look out for BLT as well, but nothing with the same UY and wanted to keep that the same.

Of course, BCV will be something that I think we will own down the road so that when it is just DH and I going for F & W, we will be close. But, that probably won't happen until I retire which is 9 1/2 years away so no rush there!!!

Using my Disney Visa again so I get the reward dollars and 0% interest for 6 months. They are not charging the final payment until September, after my statement closes, so that gives me an extra month on the bulk of the amount and until March to pay it all off!!! So nice!!!!

Just love my DVC!!!!!!

WOOO WHOOOO!!!! We just did a 40 point add on at BCV. I know it was at a premium price and I am an ultimate bargain shopper but I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF! I liked the fact that I got 2009 points as well I rationalize by being able to use my Disney Visa for the 6 mo 0% plus the Disney dollars I earn1

We are also starting the small add on cycle. Mom decided she wants to go over Christmas and over the summer for 10 days each, so we need another 220 points. We plan to add on 110 points this Christmas (2010 and 2011 points will give us the needed 220 pts for the summer) and then add another 110 points next Christmas (2011 and 2012 points will give us 220 pts for Summer 2012). So we will have the points we want and can break up the purchase into two sets. Hopefully, they will be running a deal over Christmas. Not asking for much but a token discount will be fine.

Yes, the plan is to hopefully add on again as DD hopes to do a Disney college intern program.

I have the 'Fed-Ex' box here, all set to return documents, but with my dd heading to college in a few years, we are going back and forth about whether or not to keep this contract. I may just sell off a 50 pt BWV contract and keep the BLT one. Just can't decide at the moment. Dh doesn't want to keep the addtl BLT, I do. I hate indecision.

We didn't start buying points until I had 2 in college at the same time When the kids were younger I just kept putting it off because I thought they would "outgrow" disney I just did an add on New Years Eve and another one in July. My third child is starting her Junior year of college. DD26 DS25 DD20. I hate indecision too sooooo I say KEEP IT!

Just checked and the points are already there and ready for me to make next summer's trip!!!

It is so exciting to now be over the 200 point level @ 210. Not a lot by any means, but plenty to get our yearly summer trip in 1 bedrooms from now on.
