We dealt with the SPIDERS...what will it be this year?

I know...I thought of that after she told me she picked up a shift...then she reminded me that I said I wanted to lose another 20 pounds before we go down so that's do-able if we go in May....:rolleyes1 My sister and her family are there right now...as a matter of fact they come home today:cool1:

They do have a fantastic selection of WW food and it's cheaper than here

Ha.. my sister went down Monday morning and coming home today too!!! :rotfl2:

We drove to Fargo for the day on Sunday and forgot to check out Sheel's!
I heard there's a big ferris wheel in the middle of the store that you can ride!
That would have been fun! Are you on facebook? You could find me since you have my last name and check out our photos! (Or look for Dh's name Rene - same last name) I've heard people say I don't show up on a facebook search!!

That's too funny!

I love Scheel's...I buy my work shoes there, they're from Europe and I love them:banana: I will send you a PM with my last name ... I'm super easy to find on FB...I'm the only one!!!

We had a great time in Fargo! The kids had a blast in the hotel pool until Mini Montana slipped, fell, and sustained a scrape to her knee, luckily it was on the last day and right when they were done in the pool.

Snow White gets her braces on tomorrow and is very sad she will miss out on the Werthers caramel store in Epcot this summer. Her kind aunt (the same one that's trying to get rid of me by giving me away:scared1:) said she would enjoy the caramel SW is unable to eat:sad2:

:eek:I just got off the phone with you and you never told me that my baby girl scraped her knee...I will give her extra kisses tomorrow:love:

Can't believe it's braces day tomorrow...seems like yesterday Jas was getting hers on:confused:

Again...I am a very giving person...you seen to forget that about your little sister:lmao:If I have to eat a few more items from the store...I'll do what I have to do:banana:

I am happy to report that Jasmine is feeling back to her old self again! She is at work tonight but I told her I was going to put together a post and she asked that I thank you all for the well wishes to her:love:

As soon as she was feeling better she had a night out with her girlfriends. I volunteered to drive them to the club as it was quite chilly that night and I wasn't doing anything so just made sense instead of them waiting for a cab. They all met at our house and got ready...how it brought back memories of me and my friends doing that....man did I feel old! Thought I would share a picture of these lovely ladies before their night out on the town!

Now to an update....

I have been a little sick about the price of airfares lately but was excited today to find one out of Winnipeg on Aug 20 (would have to book room only for that night) at 6am thru Chicago connecting to Orlando and arriving at 2ish for $522.00!! Last year I paid $484 so I didn't think that was that bad.

If we leave on Aug 21 which is the original plan it's $585.00....and after talking to Peg (she reminds me of things I don't think of:rolleyes1) the room only would be $124 and then at least one meal for each of us so really there is no savings.

I think I'm going to go ahead and book the flight on the 21st..it still leaves here at 6 and arrived just after 2 so we'll be able to have our traditional dinner at Raglan Road just like we planned!!

Jasmine is not happy to be flying United (she has it in her head that it's not a safe airline because of their fatality rate....she forgets it's high because of 9/11:sad1:) If we fly Delta it's $630 ... not much more, but better in my pocket than there's right;) Both Westjet and Air Canada are stupid (sorry couldn't think of a better word) outrageous right now...and the fact that we don't have to grab our luggage and clear customs in Toronto quite thrills me!!

We are going to Peg's tomorrow evening to celebrate my parent's 49th Wedding anniversary!! We can hardly believe our parents have been married that long....it seems we just planned their surprise 25th anniversary! Hopefully we can make a firm decision and get these flights booked:cool1: I'll let you know later in the week!!!

Not bad! Is that including all fees and taxes?

So does she want to fly Quantas, like in Rainman? :rolleyes1 Just wonderin'... :goodvibes

Glad to hear Jasmine is feeling better! She and her friends are a lovely group of girls! I hope they had a great night out! :)

The air sounds like a pretty good deal. The way gas has been skyrocketing I'm suprised it's not a lot costlier than last year.

49 years?! How rare and wonderful! I hope you all have a wonderful celebration! :goodvibes

Q - Pretty soon, im going to ask you to stop posting pics of Jasmine at all because she is so cute, it makes me jealous :lmao: Ive been trying to pull off the chic 'front hair braid' for at least two months... and every attempt looks like a little house on the prairie trainwreck. I am SUPA'JELLY (<- very jealous) she pulled it off!! Better make sure she carries a big stick with her, though.

Im not a Canadian flier - but youre right... those prices are a little painful. As much as Id be tempted to go down a day early, and justify it with "well the flight was cheaper..." Your sister does make sense... bah.

Have a GREAT time at Peg's tonight for the celebration :tink: that is a fantastic accomplishment! Id love to know what the secret it.. I have enough hard days- and ive only been married two years!!

ChatMoreSoon! Hi to Jas- xxoo

They had so much fun...they really are the sweetest girls:thumbsup2

I agree, who knows where the price of gas is gonna go so I'll take what I can get!

I couldn't agree more!! They are a great example to us all!!

ChatMoreSoon! Hi to Jas- xxoo

You are too funny! The first time she tried the side braid was for her grad (those pics are on my facebook if you wanted to check them out) and now loves it for keeping her hair out of her face:rotfl2: Little House :rotfl2::rotfl2: that' was hands down my favorite show of all time!!

Those prices were actually the really good ones...if we were flying Air Canada or Westjet they were over a $1000 each:eek:

They set a very good example to us of respect and compromise throughout our lives...and never go to bed angry!!!

Jas says hi...she's going to post on your TR!!!!XOXO

Great looking ADRs! I have a love/ hate relationship with making them! So many choices make it hard to decide and commit!

Jasmine and her friends all look lovely! Glad she is feeling better!

Am glad to see and hear that Jasmine is feeling much better - love the pic of all the girls after getting ready for a night out! :thumbsup2

I am with you on the airfare and the prices! :scared1: Hope you manage to book something soon - many airlines are quoting stupid prices at the minute because they can get away with it!

Air rant over! Hope you all have fun at your parent's 49th wedding anniversary :)

Jasmine and her friends look so cute! Glad she is feeling better.

Ugghhh to airline prices. I hope you are able to get your flights book soon!

Sorry about all of the airline price issues. It's ridiculous how much airfares are and the more gas goes up, the more airline fares go up (gas here went up 20 cents a gallon in a week!).

Jasmine and her friends all look so cute.

Wow still a great deal on flights. The cheapest I could get was $300.10 per person for us! Flights from Boston are a bit less expensive but then we'd have to pay for the shuttle to get there so it's really only a savings of about $50 and I'll pay that for the convenience of flying from Manchester. And we love Southwest anyway.

BTW I get to make my ADRs tomorrow!!! :woohoo:

Hey Debby!!

You and me both...my worst problem is going in and seeing if something better comes up or a different time....a little OCD I am with them:lmao: When it's just Jasmine and I travelling I am terrible....but because there is my sister's family too this time, we have left them alone:rolleyes1

They are lovely aren't they:hug:

It's so nice to have her back to her old self....:lovestruc

I will do a post this weekend about the airfare diliemma...I know you'll appreciate it!!!

We had such a good time...my sister ordered this gorgeous cake from a speciality Italian place here in the city.....beyond delicious!!

Jasmine and her friends look so cute! Glad she is feeling better.

Thanks Mary Ellen!!

I torture myself looking at those airfares everyday and was shocked at how they fluctuate even same day:confused3

Hey Kathy!!

Aren't gas prices ridiculous....our's is sitting at $1.13 per litre this morning...I remember in 1998 it was 48 cents...oh to have those prices again!! Such good girls and cuties too!!

Wow...I would love to pay $300 but that will probably never happen for us:lmao: I will be thankful if I can get it around $500 this year...:confused3

I love Westjet which is very similar to SOuthwest, but they are over a $1000 right now:eek:

OMG....ADR's tomorrow....can't wait to hear what you get:yay:

It's official....THE FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED!!!

We booked with United Airlines as they had the best times and prices..two things that are very important to me:lmao: The final price per ticket was $543.00...I figured it wasn't going to get much better than that so I booked.

We leave Winnipeg at 6am...I do love that first flight of the day....mostly because I know it sits overnight at the airport so there really should be no delays:lmao: We arrive in Chicago at 8:02am then leave Chicago at 10:54am and arrive in Orlando at 2:27pm.

I like the fact that we will have enough time in Chicago to grab some breakfast before boarding for Orlando. Peg and family haven't booked yet as they are using their visa points but I think she might look at booking this weekend....it just wouldn't be the same if we weren't all on the same flight!!

:woohoo: am glad you also managed to book your flights!!! Isn't it great once they are sorted and you do not have to stress about them anymore :thumbsup2

We also love the early flights as it means you have more time in Orlando! Hope your sister and her family manage to get on the same flight :)

:woohoo: for booking your flights! That always makes a trip feel more "real" to me :)
