It’s crazy the summer is winding down (which is great for me because it’s closer to our trip)
Yesssss, I feel the same! It's getting closerrrrr!
We snagged a BOG pre-opening breakfast on Dec 2.
Congrats!
I also added a lunch ADR for Garden Grill on December 3rd
Double congrats!
and the much waited for Minnie’s Holiday Dine w/ Fantasmic for our last night on Dec 4th.
Triple congrats!
If not I may try for 1 night at Pop so we are closer to AOA.
Have you thought of just going ahead and booking the room at Pop, that way you don't risk them selling out also? I would hate for you to wait too long, and you can't even get in there either. If AoA opens up later, you can always change it. Also, if you do book Pop, maybe request a room close to the bridge, to make your transfer more convenient!
just counting down the weeks (15 by the way).
I love this idea of counting weeks instead of days! The smaller number sounds so much more manageable. So by that reasoning, I will be checking in 16 weeks from today!
The crazy thing is I'm such a creature of habit I eat the same things all the time so it's not like it's anything new. So I'm not sure what's going on.
I have ZERO allergies to anything, yet I had something similar happen to me this one time, about 10 years ago. I had not eaten anything at all out of the ordinary. It was about 11pm, and I was at home and on the computer (probably on the DIS actually), and kept scratching at my palms, they were itching like crazy. Then I looked down, and saw red splotches all over my hands and forearms. I go and show my now ex, and we notice they're on my neck too, so I pull off my shirt, and the're all down my sides and back. It was right about then that my tongue started to swell! So we jumped in the car and headed to the ER. By the time we got there, my lips were all swollen too, and I couldn't talk normal. They gave me a shot of Benedryl and sent me home, and everything was fine. It's NEVER happened since! So to this day, I still have absolutely NO idea what triggered it!
Once I figure this out it could have some effect on my dinning plans at Disney in regards to what I will be eating, so I just might be hitting you guys up for some tips on food allergies in Disney.
Disney is AMAZING with allergies and special diets! And I think it's on the DISabilities forum, but I know there's TONS of discussions about allergies and Disney dining. You'll find LOTS of help here! And Lori is correct... If the doctor is able to give you an answer, just call and have the allergen noted on all your reservations. The restaurants will take EXCELLENT care of you!
I hope you all have a great weekend.
You too, pretty lady! Try to relax and not stress too much about this... Monday will be here before you know it!
