When you say family style....Does that mean the plate of eggs/bacon etc was for more than 1 person?

Yep. The picture is a little decieving ... there was a lot of food on there. And you can get any item refilled if you want more. =)

It is so nice to see a positive review of Coral Reef! We scratched that one off our list after a crummy experience and reading many more negative reviews on the Disboards. Maybe it is making a comeback!

So nice to see a good review of Coral Reef! It is such a beautiful restaurant. We already have Flying Fish on our list for August and my mom hates seafood so I don't know if I can sneak in another seafood restaurant! But I just love the Living Seas pavilion and the atmosphere looks amazing.

Can't beat the atmosphere that's for sure. Oh and Flying Fish is unbelievable. If you'r Mom like steak, they have a great steak. That't what I had there on our last trip. =)

This is a repeat stop for us. Our last trip we fell in love with this place so we knew we had to see if it still had it’s power over us! Ha-ha … Well it did. MAMA MIA!! What makes this pizza so darn good?! Is it the ovens? The thin crust with just the right proportions of each topping? No, I think it’s the cute waiters.

Appetizers:
Gamberetti Fagioli - jumbo shrimp, cannellini bean salad, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice
Calamari Fritti - corn-crusted rings served with spicy tomato sauce

We both love these appetizers so much that they are the same ones we got on our last visit. Why mess with a good thing? My mom says everything in her bean salad is fresh, right down to the olive oil. And I love calamari, it’s my go to appetizer whenever I go out to eat. But this is by far the best I have ever had. Always cooked perfectly.

Last time we were here, we each ordered individual pizzas but decided to just go together and get a large pepperoni. OMG … This thing was huge!! Granted we weren't starving when we came to dinner, but we ended up taking half back to the resort with us. Yes, it is even good cold.

When eating such a delicious pie, I also like to have a nice cold adult beverage. Now I am by no means a beer expert but I enjoyed this one and would have gotten another but just didn’t have the room. Ha-ha

Taking the food, the service and environment into consideration we gave Via Napoli a 9. Our bill was $63.42 without tip or alcohol. At this point I would pay OOP for this meal. The large pizza was $30 and could easily feed 3 – 4 people. So when you look at one pizza feeding several people it’s probably pretty cheap meal by Disney standards. I mean a quick serve burger and fries is about $10 per person so why not go to a sit down and really enjoy a good meal. Just my thought.

Note to self: Do not write a dinning review on pizza before you eat dinner!!

Okay, just added Coral Reef to the list. It is somewhere I've ALWAYS wanted to eat and I see on the lunch menu they have some non-seafood options like chicken caesar salad and the steak you mentioned!

Love the Via Napoli review, that is on our list as well. Thank you for more wonderful photos and I really appreciate your opinions.

We agree also about Coral Reef. We had a lovely meal there a few years ago and would return in a heartbeat! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food and service, at least on the day we were there, were great!

Great pictures, love the reviews. Haven't eaten at Coral in years, your review and pictures has convinced me to try it next trip. Via Napoli always a favorite, we love the appetizer platter with the calamari, arancini, tempura style veggies, and mozzarella etc. Had dinner at BOG, I had the shrimp/scallops as well and next time would probably try the pork which my son had or the steak! Looking forward to what's coming up!

Really appreciate that you rate whether you would pay OOP for a meal or not as a) that is a good way to rate if you think it was worth your time or not abnd b) we usually do OOP because we like to split appetizers and alcohol is usually a pretty big component anyway

I never thought I would want to hit up Via Napoli (we are from NY and just figure there are so many options other than Pizza at WDW) but there are so many good looking things there I have seen in various review we might have to hit it up
