We braved the 4th!!! AND the rain...and the crowds??? 7/1-7/8 BOOKED NEXT TRIP!!!!

Love the update. Sorry about the obnoxious guys behind you. I hate it when a few annoying people ruin everyone else's evening. It stinks!

I'm thinking about ordering some of those custom tye-dye shirts for our trip next month. She is awesome!

Love the recent updates, and so happy you got a rain-free day! :cool1: That really sucks about that popcorn kernel - I'd for sure be going crazy.

Jellyrolls looks and sounds cool (despite the rude patrons). I'm hoping we can make our way over there sometime during our upcoming trip. :thumbsup2

After our dinner at Kouzzina, we walked down the boardwalk to Jellyrolls! It was pretty empty when we got there so we took a seat up front. We had been there once before in 2006 and had such a great time but just didn't put it in the schedule for any trips after that. We were excited to see the same 2 players at the piano when we got there. They asked us where we were from and what we wanted to hear. We told them last time we were here, you played Billy Joel's Vienna and Summer Highland Falls for us, so he played it again! I feel awful that I don't remember these 2 guys names.

Vienna is my DH's favorite song! He's from Long Island - maybe it's a Jersey/LI thing? ;) We'll have to check out Jellyrolls on our next trip - we've never gotten around to it yet.

I love that you love poses as much as we do! As much as I LOVE Dinosaur, I think posing is almost just as much fun as the ride! :lmao: Ugh, sorry about the obnoxious meatheads... I can't stand when some people ruin it for everyone else. Looking forward to hearing about the SUN!!! Sooo happy it came out for you guys!

Great update! Kouzzina looks so good! And more sangria as promised! haha

Sorry about the bad crowd at Jellyrolls...it's a shame they weren't asked to leave. Obviously they were ruining others nights as well!

And can't wait to hear about some SUN!

I'm sorry about the popcorn kernel shell thingy. I ALWAYS manage to get those things stuck in my throat. It's no fun.

I LOVE that you guys pose for the on-ride pictures!! My sister and I have so much fun doing that. Dinosaur always provides entertaining pics (usually without even posing :rotfl:) and we were thrilled that Space Mt added a camera. And the pictures definitely didn't disappoint. :upsidedow

I'm sorry about those jerks at Jellyrolls. People can be so oblivious to their obnoxiousness. Ugh.

The food at Kats looked yummy!popcorn::

I would have gone Bon Qui Qui on the group behind you guys.:lmao::lmao:
I absolutely hate people that act that way....drunk and obnoxious to boot. We were in NYC, at a Yankees game memorial weekend and had that problem.......it was miserable. :headache::headache:

Soooo yummy at Kouzzina! Some people just don't understand how to behave in public....

Your dinner looks AMAZING!! My parents and sister ate there earlier this summer and said it was the best meal of their trip. :thumbsup2 I can't wait to try it someday!

Sorry the guys at Jellyrolls were SOOOO obnoxious. I absolutely hate it when people get like that. And unfortunately they're so drunk that they don't even get it when people are clearly bothered by them. :headache:

Definitely make it a point to try Kouzzina next time! Yeah, they were oblivious....

Just watched the videos - Jellyrolls is going on the "When Henry is old enough for Kids Care" list! That looks like so much fun!!!

Haha! Yes, definitely go to Jellyrolls! It's very fun!

Yes! Aren't those shirts so cool! She was so great to work with too!

It was rain-free but the forecast was the same so we still carried around the "rain bag" all day!

You've GOT to go to Jellyrolls! You'll love it.

Must be! It's definitely not one of his most popular songs.....

Posing for ride pictures is the BEST!! One day I'm going to have to make a montage of ALL my ride photos....

I wouldn't be surprised if they were asked to leave at some point during the night...

THE SUN!! It was GLORIOUS!!

Great updates :thumbsup2

How horrible that you were forced to leave JR because of those dumb @s$ guys, but it was nice that the piano player was trying to get you to stay.

How cool would it have been if you were with the Rubiks group, would have been interesting to see their rubiks pose :teeth:

Jellyrolls sounds superfun! Is it a 21 and older club only? I liked Adventurers Club because we could take the older children in our party.

Yeah we were not happy about having to leave but we just couldn't take it! It would've been fun to be in the pic with them but at least they helped make our wait go faster!

Jellyrolls is fun BUT doesn't even come CLOSE to the Adventurers Club! That place was one of a kind! Unfortunately, it IS 21 or older to get in to Jellyrolls....

I might put the kids in the kids club one night and go to Jellyrolls. I love dueling pianos!!! But I did like going to Adventurer's Club. We would take my nieces as a special treat and they would get a virgin Kungaloosh while I just got Kungalooshed :rotfl: EVERYONE enjoyed their antics though - even the kids (we didn't take them when they were too young, only when they were old enough to enjoy it). Can't they bring it back???? So off topic, sorry...

Love all of the pictures. Do you just have to purchase the photopass CD before you leave? I wasnt sure how that worked, but after reading your report I am starting to think its an investment worth making :thumbsup2

Hope that pesky kernel has given you a break finally!

OH BTW....the popcorn kernel shell??? STILL THERE!!

I am sooo frustrated! I went to the ear, nose and throat doctor yesterday and he scoped me and stuck his whole hand down my throat, said he was able to do a really good exam but doesn't see it. He said there was a little inflammation and gave me steroids for that but I KNOW the kernel shell is still there. I know it! I can feel it. I feel the actual shell, it's not just a feeling of swelling, I feel the actual shell attached to my throat...

I'm so scared that it's going to be there forever and no one will believe me. :sad1:

Do you still have your tonsils? Is that where the kernel is? When I was 20 I had my tonsils removed due to "cryptic tonsils". Basically they are filled with holes and gaps. I was always getting food caught in them. Eventually, it would become very irritated and sometimes infected. Months would go by and food would still be stuck. I know this isn't pleasant, but just wanted to throw out that possibility for you!

Okay- I went away for a mini-week...is the kernel gone???

That stinks that your evening plans were changed and you left Jellyrolls early. It looks like you made the best of it though!

Can't wait to read about your drinking around the world showcase update- actually, I really am waiting for pictures! popcorn::

I'm pretty sure the kernel is gone! I haven't felt it in a few days. Last Saturday night I thought I felt it moving but the next day it felt the way it had so I thought maybe it just repositioned but maybe it actually DID dislodge at that point. Because I've been feeling it less and less (just in the mornings) and by Wed or Thurs I didn't feel it at all!

So I HOPE that means it's gone. Of course, I'm paranoid that maybe I just got used to the feeling and it IS still there but that's most likely just me being crazy!

I pre-ordered the CD before I left. It's definitely worth it for us since it's just the two of us, we can't really take pictures of ourselves in front of the big picture spots...although I AM pretty darn good at taking pics of us with my arm way out!

There will be plenty of pics!!

I'm really enjoying your TR! Getting super excited about our trip in 47 days! This will be our first time at POR and I love all the pics you have posted. Can't wait to read the rest! :)

I'm glad the kernel is finally gone! :cool1: That must have been soooo annoying! :rotfl:
