We have also booked the pirate room for two nights in August 09............... Sweet dreams of Jack Sparrow!!!
When do they open? Can't wait to see some real pictures of the rooms and hear from people who have experienced them!

No...no luck involved. You have to actually select that online or request it when booking over the phone. It's the same price as a regular room, unless you want a water view pirate room.

Sorry, that is what I meant...just that it is more than the standard, non-preferred room if you want the waterview pirate room.

Does anyone know if these rooms have been started/finished yet?!! We are going in August and can't wait to see what these rooms look like! When are they supposed to be open? Hopefully someone who is going soon will be able to sneak around Trinidad SOuth and take some photos through the windows! ha! ha!

I believe they are to be done towards the end of January 2009!

That room looks awesome! I wonder if we booked a Pirate room for Oct 2009, if we can apply any codes or dicounts that come up. Mostly, I'm waiting to see if there will be a Disney Visa Free fall Dining offer out for that time..... Are most of these offers limited to certain/select rooms?
