We ate and ate! May 5-9

Yes, they were shrimp on a skewer. They were delicious. We had a late reservation too. We saw wishes there and it was great.

Just to make sure, the shrimp are back on the skewer and not in a bowl? We had a reservation last week at Ohana's and I cancelled it after receiving a non favorable email stating they had changed some of the food. We use to eat here every trip, mainly for the shrimp.

Yes our shrimp were on a skewer not in a bowl. The server came over with one long skewer with shrimp on it. He would put the shrimp on our plate and we would tell him when to stop. I even got seconds. I know I had read a review saying that the potatoes where gone. It was replaced with noodles. We had never eaten here before so we I do not know what was on the previous menu. We really did not eat any sides because we were so impressed with the bread, salad, shrimp, and meat. I had also read on a review before that they felt rushed at Ohanas. As packed as the restaurant was, we never felt rushed. When wished started some of the tables started to stand up to see the fireworks and blocked our view. Our server made sure every one sat down so we could see. We did not even have to ask him, he did it on his own. I can tell you that this place must be popular because it was PACKED!

'Ohanas was a must do for us when the shrimp were on the skewer. My husband will be sick that we missed this. I will have to put it back on the list. I wish people would keep the negatives to themselves. I wish now, I had not received the email.

After reading your review about 'Ohana's I picked up the phone and called to see if I could get an adr. I was a little worried because I am going during free dining but the CM said she had one for 9:00 and I said I'll take it. I thought I would be crazy hoping to get an adr at a time that I could watch Wishes but yippee I got it.

The only problem is that I had to cancel my Kona Cafe adr because I didn't have any other time. So little time so many places to eat............ I will have to save that for next. I just thought that my DD9 would enjoy 'Ohana better.
