If I'm lucky a house will fall on my ex! Oops, I'm sorry, did I say that???? ;)

TC:cool:

batten down the hatches! Let us know how you're doing!!!

Good luck--those storms killed at least one person in western Ohio earlier. We had a lot of wind and rain but thankfully everyone is safe.

Please stay safe everyone... I too heard that one was killed in Ohio and I think three in Tenn. We had high winds and hail this evening and it sounds like the storms are picking up again. I can't wait until 10 pm when the warning goes away :)

That Tornado Warning has just scrolled across the bottom of my TV screen here in Pittsburgh! This has come as a complete surprise to me.

At least two dead in Ohio. Wow, it was wicked here. They figure on six tornadoes, maybe more touched down in Northern Ohio. We are just going to check on family in the area now. Who would believe this kind of weather in November.

Uhoh, hope nothing bad happens to you, or anybody else. But hey, sometimes storms can be really fun! :p

Just heard 2 confirmed touchdowns in Van Wert Ohio and 2 confirmed dead - sad night here in Ohio

stay safe everyone...

LOL, TC! Sounds like you have happy thoughts about your ex.;)

There's a tornado watch on areas nearby here too. I think we're out of the major areas though.

Marla, that's so sad.:( Was that near you?

Stay safe. TC and everyone else.

Shannon, VanWert is in NW Ohio near Toledo so that was about two hours north from where Marla was (about 1 1/2 hours NW from me). I have heard of four confirmed deaths in two different counties :( I know others have not been accounted for :(

I was gonna ask if you were TC's ex, but that last part of your sentence clarified that.;) I'm glad you're still alive and kicking, Jason.:)

Elaine, that's so sad about the 4 deaths.:( Prayers for all the families.

It was a scary, sad night in Ohio last night. :(
We only got the lightning, rain, wind, and thunder, but a nearby town had a small tornado touch down.

Just a little rain here...We live in the lucky part of the state...the storms seem to go around us.:Pinkbounc

Sue and I were in an airplane returning from Orlando (of all places) and were about to land at Akron/Canton airport just as the full force of the storm hit that area. Our pilot made a couple of valiant attempts to land the jet before he was ordered to divert to Pittsburgh. When we landed in Pittsburgh, we immediately called home to let Sue's mom and our kids know that we most likely would not be arriving home anytime soon. At that moment, the warning sirens in Macedonia were sounding. At about the same time, a tornado touched down 5 blocks from our house and flattened one home and seriously damaged several others. Our kids and Sue's mom rode out the storm without any ill effects (although I believe that Sarah probably clung to Nana all night long). Sue and I spent the night in Pittsburgh and took an early morning bus ride back to Akron/Canton airport. We got home around 10AM this morning, safe and sound. I'm going to give my kids a great big hug when I get home from work tonight.

Prayers for those who were less fortunate than us in the face of nature's fury.

Good to hear from you John! I was wondering if you were able to make it home last night! Glad to hear all is well with your family too... I am sure your kids would love your hugs... it was a scary storm last night!
