we would like a sit down type of meal. We are willing to walk over to the swan or dolphin if they have good food there too. any suggestions??

You have a lot of good choices for a TS breakfast. Captains Grille is great if you want more of an adult setting--can do buffet or a la carte. Cape May buffet has the characters and a lot of little ones. Also Spoodles at BW has a great Mediterrean style breakfast.

We love the breakfast at Cape May Cafe!! It is awesome!! The food is great the service is great, and it has characters in case you like that. DH doesn't really "get" Disney so I was pleasantly surprised when he was cutting up with Goofy!! DD17's favorite meal is breakfast so we usually have a big breakfast and this is her favorite place to eat!! We all had a blast!!

We also like Spoodles. You won't any problem finding a great breakfast nearby, short walking distance.

Have a great time!!

We've had breakfast at Spoodles many times and enjoy it. We also do the Captain's Grille. We can get table service and the kids can do the buffet.

We had breakfast at Cape Mays at Beach Club twice on our trip a few months ago. It was one of our favourite character meals of the trip (and we did 10 of them this last trip). Minnie sat down at our table and played 0's and X's on the tablecloth with our son. It is fantastic there.

We stay at the Yacht Club and always have breakfast at Spoodles and the Boardwalk Bakery. Both places are very good.
Cape May has an excellent character breakfast. My wife and I visit there each trip.

Captain's Grille is very good. Fresh at the dolphin is a buffet but quite good....no characters. If you're a DVC member, there's a discount. Starbucks, freshly squeezed oj and some unusual fruit juice mixtures too.

We've only tried Spoodles once and my dish was yucky. Got to give it another try. And the breakfast platters my guys ordered looked great.

Fresh & other S/D non-Signature restaurants also offer a AAA discount.

Another vote for Cape May. We've done 3-4 breakfasts there so far (mainly b/c it's so close for us, staying at the YC) and each time was great! I've never tried Spoodles, though...I'll have to keep that in mind.

We like Cape May! Great food and great character interaction. Everything available on the Boardwalk is a short distance and breakfast ADRs in EPCOT is right there as well.
:thumbsup2

If it's entertainment/characters then Cape May is a good one but if it's good food then FRESH at the Dolphin is the way to go!:thumbsup2

I just wanted to add that although Fresh is a "buffet" so to speak, the food is cooked Fresh for you. The batter doesn't hit the griddle until you walk up to the bar to ask for Pancakes. Also cooked fresh for you are made to order eggs, omlets, waffles, French toast. It was wonderful.
