Ashton never really like the Wiggle's, "thank goodness," they went off before he really started watching tv. I always thought it strange from the time I watched tv with Gwendolyn whenever I saw a group of men perform children stuff :confused3. I really don't care for the Imaignation Movers show; now I always liked their videos and music

we rarely watch Seasme Street; we watch Caliou, super why!, and word world those are his favs!

I need a little one around. I don't know any of those. Send him to me please. COD is fine. I'll pay.:grouphug:

ooooo, now you know I could not do that! but maybe we'll have to talk Danny into a road trip!!! :lmao: I can't stand for him to go to his grandparents over night--how could I ever ship him off!

Yeah, I always thought it was strange that a group of men performed children's songs, too. I can tolerate the Imagination Movers far better than the Wiggles. I can't stand Nina, though. There I go again, Disney Character hatin'! :rolleyes1

nina's ok; it's the uncle that has no purpose at all!!! :lmao: they need Nina to balance the guys! still really don't care for the show :confused3

How in the heck did I miss this thread? I could have sworn that I voted before! Anyway, I'm gonna go back and read it all and catch up.

:welcome:WELCOME LISA! :welcome:

We are having fun chit chatting and trying to plan all my 2010 vacations!! Yes, I said vacations. As you will read on the first post; Danny has agreed to take us back to WDW if we agree to go to the beach first!:rolleyes1 His missed his annual :beach: trip due to Ashton's surgery and later money was just not there (really cause of the car he bought Dayne) to even fit in a long weekend!:confused3

So, join us when you can for chit chat and I will do my best to let followers know when I post vacation info!

I think I need a table of contents for that:idea: might have to do that next bored day!

So, happy you were able to finally stop over! Wasn't the same with out you!:grouphug:

Connie

I don't know how I managed to get 4 pages behind.

To join the children's show discussion: I loved the Wiggles. I know. I'm weird. But I miss them. I stopped watching when Greg left. It just wasn't the same. Will loved them and so did Christian. They still watch the videos every now and then. Both of them. We went to see them live twice. I guess they just make me think of when the kids were little ('cause they are SO big now at 4 and 7, right?).

Christian will still watch "kids" shows, but he's more into Nick Jr. than Disney. He loves Backyardigans (which Will calls a "baby" show, but then sits down to watch) and Max and Ruby. Both the kids love Max and Ruby. Now there's a show I can't stand. Ruby drives me CRAZY (she's SO bossy) and Max is supposed to be 3. He MUST be able to speak in sentences longer than one word. And where are their parents? I like Backyardigans though. Christian occassionally watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and he'll watch the rest if Disney is on, but doesn't really care. I never cared much about Handy Manny and he'll watch Imagination Movers, but I think it's just okay. Prefer the Wiggles. Don't really like OSO at all. I think they are copying Dora with the 1,2,3 thing. Christian still likes Dora and Diego too. But he's starting to copy his big brother. They both like Star Wars the Clone Wars and Pokemon. Will will watch anything on Cartoon Network (that I'll let him watch), but Christian gets bored quickly with stuff like Ben10. Will used to love Little Einsteins. Christian liked it, but it was never his favorite. Will has always loved music, so that's why he loved Little Einsteins. They both loved all of the Baby Einstein movies too. They STILL watch some of them. I never minded Little Einsteins.

There are some I miss, though. I miss JoJo's Circus. Sometimes it drove me crazy, but I miss it now. And (let's see if any of you remember this one), I REALLY miss PB&J Otter. I loved that show! I'm mad they took it off. Here, I just found this on You Tube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaFzEau2cgY&feature=related

I miss Rolie Poly Olie too, but we have a couple of Olie videos so that's okay. PB&J never came out with videos.

Anyway, at least now the "big kid" shows they watch are Disney shows (other than Cartoon Network). They both like Hannah Montana and Jonas (okay, I like Jonas too) and Zack and Cody. I don't really let them watch the big kid shows on Nick. Don't like 'em.

And I don't do Sponge Bob either. I wouldn't let them watch him for a while. Then I gave in a little...I mean, Will IS 7. Then they stopped watching him. Thank goodness. And I won't put him back on. Just don't think it's something my kids need to watch.

Christian still likes Blue's Clues some too. I know everyone in the world liked Steve better, but I prefer Joe. Maybe it has to do with when you started watching it.

Oh, and Christian LOVES Little Bill. But that's a pretty cool show. Lazy Town, not so much, but he really likes that too. THANK GOODNESS Nickelodeon was smart enough to put out "Nick Favorites" DVDs. One of each show on each DVD. We have like 5 of them. Perfect for Christian.

OH, and I almost forgot one of MY favorites...Charlie and Lola. I love Charlie and Lola. Will used to like it okay. Christian never cared much about it, but he was really little when it went off. He might like it now. He's a lot like Lola. We have a couple of those DVDs. And we have one or two Stanley DVDs too. I'll bet he'd like Stanley. He loves animals. I need to get those out. He might like Olie too come to think of it. He does love Bear in the Big Blue House. We only have one of those, but I need to get more. Bear was a good show. Why can't Disney leave well enough alone? I sure wish they had PB&J Otter DVDs. Sigh.

Oh, and Kipper. Do you guys know Kipper? Both boys love Kipper, although Christian more than Will. He used to drive me crazy, but now I kind of like him. He's funny. I really do probably like kids' shows more than I should. :rotfl:

I think my kids actually have more DVDs than Matt and I do. Oh well. I like kid shows, what can I say.

Hope you all had a good day!

Hey! Heather!!!
Ashton's list of likes are quite long also! He use to love JoJo when he seen JoJo at the Disney Playhouse Dance Party he was soooo excited! he enjoyed Kipper the few times we caught it, Stanley OK, Rolie Polie Ollie was before his time one time a movie came on he really did not sit still to watch it???, he loves Dora, Diego, Backyardigans, Blue (I rather Joe too), Franklin, the pbs shows I listed above, did not like Bunny Town, he does like Handy Manny, he will watch Winnie the Pooh & Tigger but prefers the Nick Jr shows that play at the same time, he likes OSO but I am not crazy! He likes charlie & lola and ruby & max, but I don't! so I usually will change it. We have Bear's potty DVD, Blue's ABC's and the rest of his DVD's are either Brainy Baby or Disney movies! think I covered them all!

His new love is pbs' Dinosaur Train!!! it is a good show I'm sure both of your boys would like it!

So, I was sitting next to Danny on the sofa earlier and said..."can we please go to Disney the end of Jan beginning of Feb!"

I did not get an answer; just a look! than I said
"what if they extend the "free dining" or do the 4/3-7 deal again?"

We'll see!

Hey that's better than what I've been getting:confused3

I gotta keep trying...what do you think my chances are of asking can we gl in Jan and than again the first week of DEC:rotfl2:! can I say AP!:lmao:

What did you have to bribe him with? Whatever it is keep up the good work.

How is your day? I'm so glad Friday rolled around. I was beginning to think it would never come.

Give my main squeeze a hug, a kiss and an extra kiss just for good measure.
Have a great day.

We are currently watching 'Lilo & Stitch", just finished cooking pork chops in gravy over rice. Ashton did not eat well yesterday or again today! and Keeps telling me his tummy hurts (I think it is the potty training his BM's are off schedule--apple juice mixed in his koolaid) he is on a kick this week does not want milk, juice, or tea! So, his koolaid is spiked and diluted!

I'm even switching his gold fish for the whole wheat ones w/whole wheat crackers!

I have not gotten an answer out of Danny yet! but hey it was not a "NO"! I really think if they have a great deal; I will win this one. If not I will just start planning for the week after thanksgiving. I even have an idea of an iternary. :lmao:

Be back!

Apple juice is a good medicine and it tastes good. Keep working on Danny. We'll get him straightened out. :rotfl:

I just put the service on. :yay: So now I can clean the desk before going home time.

Ginny,
I know what I said in all the PM's but I just like my siggie this way!! :lmao:
but, I will be more careful about the other things ;)

I'm following along on other PTR's for 2010! and recent TR's! it is making the Disney itch sooooo intense!!!:rotfl2: What's a girl to do?!?:confused3

I keep trying to remember when do they come out with the deals for the beginning months of the year?!? is it Oct or Nov?!?

I can not wait for Dana to come back and report on the POP! and Jen to tell me all about the beginning of Dec! and Heather & Dana to fill me in on the crowds and weather in Sept!

I also think I want to give it a try making personal appliques!! I would have to do it all by hand as I do not have a machine...it may really help to pass the time...and may make really nice gifts for the three little girls I buy for!

We may have to organize a mini trip to somewhere close to help soothe this itch:confused3

ya'll have a great weekend; it is a really really wet one here!!!!
 Connie

I know what you mean. I get the fever so bad. I am starting to get butterflies because we are getting so close.

I wish I could do appliques. One of my co-workers has a sewing machine that will do any of it. I can't even put an iron on and get it straight :lmao:.

I think I am at my happiest when I am planning a Disney trip :goodvibes.

Me too! I have been thinking how I was going to do a countdown calendar:idea: I want to use the maps you get from Disney. I think I'm going to order two more (I have four but on two pages:headache: )

I started getting Mickey Heads from Home Depot but need many more:rolleyes1
I was looking at the iron ons (never did that either) the only thing I have done is neddle point and I have handsewn some light sheets for Ashton (that is nothing all you do is put a hem all around.:cutie:

I had read the TTA is open again! I always enjoyed that ride!:thumbsup2

I'm so happy you are soooooo close to your trip!!! I can't wait to hear all the reports (on the Pop and the crowds, you know!)

If you are following Desiree on facebook you can look at her pictures and see that the crowds are very light right now. I am hoping it stays that way while we are there.
