OK! Everyone wish me luck!!!

I finally have all my prices (except for a few townhouses--waiting on their quote but I have the idea)! I still need to put it down on paper so he can understand it! I have figures everywhere!!

But, the good news is he is in a great mood! He received a call this morning that his end of the year bonus is ready!!

So, here are the dates that I have come up with
Dayne graduates on Monday May 17, 2010
so do we hit the road Tuesady or Wednesday...
let's say we do Wednesday
so, May 19th drive
May 20 Seaworld
May 21 Universal
May 22 Islands of Adventure
May 23 -26 WDW!!!!
May 27 drive up to Fort Walton Beach
May 30 drive home!

Now, we will stay in a townhouse from the 19th-23 and on site at WDW 23-27
I have prices for all three level resorts--
value (Pop) $331 if we do value we need two rooms
mod (POR) $497

here is where an awful lot of ifs come into play
Dayne is bringing a friend (that is certain) will Joe and Gwendolyn join us...
so if Gwendolyn & Joe come along we have decided we are not paying their way this go round (but Joe can get the military tickets again this year...so I think I will tell Danny that even if we buy their tickets we still save money! )
Joe can buy tickets 4 day hoppers $124 -- we can buy 4 day hoppers $277
I am not doing the dining plan if Gwendolyn & Joe do not come and I go with one room at the POR--plan to allow Dayne food allowance like last time...that really worked well for us! If Gwendolyn & Joe come and we do two rooms at the POP I will do the DDP for Danny, Ashton, & I...if not we will just do the OOP. (I even figured out the cost of dining for character dining and sit down meals that I plan to add this go round).

So, as I said I still need to incorporate the figures to a spreadsheet but I think I have it all. I did price out the Poly, WL, AKL, and Contemporary...if we did not have to add the other three non disney parks I could swing it...but, as I have not stayed in one yet (we have done mod and value; so far) it should not bother me and I'm just happy to be at Disney!

BTW: if this does not work we go the week after Thanksgiving! and I will be seeing it for Christmas!!!

So, I look at it this way--I win either way
in May I get to meet all of you
in Nov I get to see it for Christmas! -

update: Dannysaid IF we go; we are going to the POP! so we can do two rooms ... regardless if Gwendolyn & Joe join us...it will cost us the same price for two rooms at the pop as one room at the mod!!!(with the split) so why try to put 5 of us in one room!! I winning him over!! I have numbers for Gwendolyn and Dayne's friend still working on ours...guess I don't want Danny to tell me NO so I'm dragging it out...

I don't know how ya'll do it up north....unless ya'll have high light bills from running the heater (we are electric--gas was not offered here when we built the house)...

I need to be in bed. 6 will be super early. We have gas. It was -4 last night. we are to have more snow tomorrow and Thursday and continued cold. Sheri's furnace went out last night. They ran their gas fireplace and stayed plenty warm. Got it fixed today.

Yes, I'd love to come. What fun it would be. I told Dana the girls could all get together around the pool and talk bad about me.

I was just outside trying to catch Dayne's dog (he got off his leash--we have him leashed up in the day time at the moment--his dog run is a slop with all the rain lately--well, he keeps getting loose) and I missed a phone call from "Walt Disney World" they must see all the pricing I'm doing!!

I'm glad you did get some sleep. I immediately went to sleep. I did not want to get up this morning at all. Getting ready for more snow. It is to come between 5-6 tonite and go all nite long. Maybe we'll get lucky and not have work tomorrow.

I think that would be so awesome if you got to go in May. Hate that Lisa won't be there but to get to be with those other wonderful girls would be such fun. And I know Danny would like to meet Leanne as well. I would be jealous. And that is a feeling I don't have often.

I so would if I didn't care if Don ever spoke to me again. I wouldn't want him to name some one else on his retirement benefits as he is about ready to use them. I've put up with him for 42 years. I'm not going to lose it now.

Today, is three kings' day!!!! Here in the New Olreans area (and I'm sure Mobile, Dana?!?) it is the start of our Mardi Gras season and the official day the King Cake is suppose to start hitting the shelves (although most places start Jan 1, now! )

Now, tell me how do you watch your diet with all the cake coming into this house--Dayne buys two at a time and eats 1.5 at one sitting...the boy is going to have a heart attack...he so does not eat right!

Now that would be hard to do. I love cake. Sheri and I went to the ww meeting last night. Won't even go into how much weight I have gained back after a successful loss 2 years ago. So no extra anything for me for a long time.

We have been to several parades in NO when the girls were younger. We could see a change in them from our first one till the last one. Seemed they had become a little wilder. We did enjoy them tho. The girls have lots of beads they kept. (No they did not lift their shirts).

I am so not a crowd person. I do not go to Bass Pro cause of the crowds. But get me to a place that is supposed to be crowded and I'm fine. Vegas, Disney, a ball game. Just not Springfield or surrounding area. It should still be like it was in the 60's.

Are you sure you can't push back your vacation by a few days? I wish I could start our vacation a little earlier but Hunter doesn't get out of school until the day we start our drive. He'll get out at 3:00 and we'll leave around 5:45 p.m.

so, I'm currently adjusting and serching tickets prices through undercover...

Well, I really hope you get to go sooner, rather than later. That way you won't have to wait so long! But a week at the beach will be fun, too, and then you can go on two vacations this year. Yay!

When you are pricing out the resorts, are you pricing them out with the new special offer? You do know that you can add the tickets and the dining plan to the room offer. That's what I did.

I priced out the deluxe resorts and I just can't justify the cost. We aren't in the resort enough to pay those kinds of prices....even with the special offer discounts.
