We went for our 25th this past July. Did 6 nights at Pacific Beach hotel (right on Waikiki, down a bit from Hyatt Regency, $115 US a night). Excellent hotel, room on 27th floor with views of Diamond Head, the beach and the mountains (love those corner rooms). Wouldn`t stay anywhere else if we went back. Then we took an 11 day Norwegian Wind cruise. Awesome way to see the islands, rented a car on each island and visited 2 or 3 beaches and waterfalls on each island. Being on the cruise lets you visit more islands than you could otherwise and saves the hassle of finding somewhere to stay and where to eat. Love everything about Hawaii and will probably go back as often as possible.
