We are on our way to Hilton Head for Christmas!

We leave on Tuesday for a night in Columbia SC and check in on Wednesday and are SO excited! We love this resort and even in the cooler weather can always find so much to do.

Does the resort do anything special for Christmas?

Any idea as to restaurants that might be open for dinner on Christmas Eve for dinner?

We are SO looking forward to a relaxing 6 days, and also hitting the outlets the day after Christmas.

I'm so excited for you! Spending Christmas at HHI sounds like a wonderful way to spend the holiday. We were just there for Thanksgiving, but I'm afraid we have no suggestions for Christmas. Just look for those cranberry walnut cookies and hot cider in Big Murgie's Den in the afternoon. And please, if you get a chance, send some trip updates our way. I'm not having the "funnest" Christmas season right now, and would love to live vicariously through your visit to my favorite spot. Say Hello to Dottie in the General Store for us. I don't think you'll see Gordon-if I'm correct, he'll be on vacation. But you can't miss having a WONDERFUL time.

Have fun and please report on how you liked being there over Christmas!!! We are going for our first trip in mid July. We were almost going to go over NYE week but changed our minds.

Have a wonderful time at HH for Christmas. HH is one of the few DVC resorts I have not yet stayed at.I am looking forward to planning a trip there in the near future.I think Christmas would be a great time to get away and find the Disney magic with cooler weather. Enjoy and please let us know how your trip was when you get back.
