We are officially OKW owners!!!

As some of you may know by reading my post I LOVE OKW! - after staying there in July I knew I needed to have a "HOME" there - and as of today its official We are the proud new owners of 200 OKW points - sign sealed and delivered! Now we own at VWL and OKW!

From finding the right contract to closing took about 7weeks through the timeshare store. We got lucky though, owners in a hurry to sell and I called the day it came in so the finding process happened in just 1 day, 6weeks 6 days for the rest!

Hi Aimee,

We decided after our July 4th trip this year to buy from Timeshare store at OKW and just heard back from Disney. The Disney rep called, gave us our membership number and we make reservation for next year and have not even gotten the deed back yet! Took about 7 weeks but felt like 20! Very smooth transaction.

thanks all for answering my question re: how long the resale process took!

We heard from the time share closing service today that Dsney OK'd the sale($63 per pt +closing for all of those following the resale market.....)...now they are just waiting for the escrow info, etc.....she said probably 2 more weeks before all is said and done.......seems like its an endless wait, though its only been a few weeks!

Just can't wait to make some plans!
