Hey there! We are staying in Newport Coast and the air quality here is bad. Ash is everywhere, in the pools ect. When we blow our nose,,,well you know what comes out! We were in DL on Sunday night, just to see the Fireworks and Fantasmic and they waited until the very last minute to cancel them. We did get some time of the rides and saw the parades but really we waisted one day on our 3 day park hopper. The winds were high, mainly gusty, but I only saw 1 ride closed. While we were drivinghome, still in Anaheim we saw a hill that was on fire and it looked like a volcano.
Yesterday the air quality was very bad, ashe flying around, there is a layer of it in the pool, on your cars, it is smoggy but we can still see some blue skys. We lost the view of the ocean from our room with the smoke.
So, today we are going into Disney for EE. We are still having a great time on our vacation, but we were bumbed about the fireworks and fantasmic being cancelled because it does not run during the week. Take care
