Wondering if you stayed on-site and if so, used Magical Express. Can you tell me about your experience - where you stayed and most importantly how long it took you to get from the airport until you were on your way to your first-day activities?

I'm obsessing over our itinerary and are wondering about what time we'll get into the parks the first day. We arrive at MCO at 8:30 (hoping for earlier ) and hope to be in the parks 2 hours later. Am I getting my hopes up?

luvdisney - my gang of 6 used ME on sunday the 2nd to join me at BWV - their plane landed at 1:25 - they pulled up to the resort in the bus at 2:30 - not sure what time their bags were delivered, but they were in the room at 11 PM when we returned from MNSSHP. They watched a movie on the bus and said it all went very smoothly. We didn't use ME to return to the airport, we used FL Tours van because we had moved over to Universal - that went great, too! (PS: don't forget to take your coupon for the pin lanyard - the little ME bus pin is really cute- you can pick them up in the resort gift shops)

Yes, we used Magical Express and it was Great...from the time we landed and got to the hotel it was about an hour (we had a couple other drop off at resorts before reaching ours at Movies),we went downtown disney for supper and when we got back our bags were in the room so that was awesome for us not to have to drag them around especailly when you are dragging around kids and all they stuff that they needed on the plane hehehehe...I would have to say that the magical express is a real asset to WDW. We were hoping to use the airline check in at the resort, but their computers were down, so we had to do it the old fashion way at the airport, but we got there in plenty of time

Thanks for your report!! So they did deliver your bags to your room without you there. I've been trying to get that answered. Thanks!! When you checked in, did they give you your room numbers then??? Or did you have to wait and find out after you came back??? Just curious, because we have requested certain buidings. Thanks again!!

yup, they delivered them without us there, they just placed them in the room, we got our room number when we arrived at the resort, i guess they dont' even assign rooms until like 5 days before arriving, but we got the building and the floor we wanted
