Ok, I'm a week late in responding to the thread. Darn it!
I saw a post on the original thread earlier this week that someone was following us from port. I thought I had replied to it but Rick said he didn't see it come through. Any how, OLDKEYW is our vaniety plate. I thing it took us 45 minutes to get to the Beach Club and I had called ahead to the front desk to see if a room was ready. OH HOW I LOVE MY DVC. We were in our room by 10:00 and Mr. Brian the night owl was asleep by 10:30. Amanda and I hit but bus for DOWNTOWN. Didn't find much. St. Maarten kind of broke me and spoiled me all at the same time.
We had a lovely day and ended up having dinner at the most expensive restaurant around the lagoon (Beaches and Cream). We'd have had better at Cape May. I was glad to get back to the resort from the ship as they do play the Disney Classics all around the resort.
DCL did a great job welcoming us home when we left the ship in both St. Maarten and St. Thomas. But nobody does it better than at the Beach Club.
Rick went to the local liquor store yesterday he was ticked that he couldn't buy more liquor to bring home. A liter of Kaliua was $9 in St. Thomas here it is $28. He says now he has to go back.
geffric, I noticed your signature says you go back to OKW in 92 days. We will be at Vero 7/4-9 and then up to Orlando 9-16. How long you in town? When do you leave?
