We have never had any vacation in the past set up this early before. It will be DW, DS and me and another couple with their daughter. We'll be on the Disney Magic next year for the Norwegian Fjord and Iceland cruise.

We have our flight reservations, an Airbnb for three nights in Copenhagen, hop on the Magic, followed by two nights in Horley, UK. We are thinking of renting a car in Dover and do some sightseeing on our way to Horley, hop on a train the next morning for a day in London and take our time the morning we leave for Gatwick airport and the long flight home.

Now we just have to make our final payment on the cruise and wait for the window to open for making reservations for the excursions and activities on the ship.

We loved the Norway/Iceland cruise! We also spent a couple days in Copenhagen and it was one of the highlights of the trip! We actually got the Copenhagen card because we wanted to go to a lot of the museums, see the crown jewels and visit Frederiksborg Castle (well worth the train ride, the castle is stunning!). The Copenhagen card will cover pretty much all transportation, admission fees to just about every museum and a free canal cruise.

Yes, we were on the EBTA and loved the Copenhagen card!

Wife and I did the Baltic Capitals DCL cruise a couple of years ago and loved Copenhagen. Be sure to visit Tivoli Gardens while there. In addition to it being the model Walt used for Disneyland, it has one of the first (and still functioning) roller coasters, a great aquarium and a pirate ship...what more can you want? It was only a port visit, so we didn't have much time, but the DCL makes their excursions special by arriving an hour early at Tivoli, the Hermitage, etc. for pre-opening tours without crowds. We haven't done the Norwegian cruise yet, but it is on our list.
