We all have our favorite resort we've stayed at or dreamed of staying at but...

I will never stay at ASMo again. My family decided to save some money and try a value but we will ever do that again. There was mold in the room and the AC was not working (it was June, so AC is crucial). We ended up having to move resorts because there were no rooms available at ours and we couldn't stay in that room with the mold, both of my children have asthma. We did get upgraded to POR which was really nice.

Least favorite = Pop. Stayed there one time, years ago. It wasn't complete yet, construction was still going on but guests were staying in what buildings were complete. Just not very impressed overall.. Theming was okay, but not my thing.
I would say CSR but for its outstanding pool area! The food service was AWFUL there! We usually come back late every night and grab a bite to eat.. we couldn't even find a sandwich- and it was only 9 pm-the whole food court was just shut down for the night! Seems like the resort is geared more toward eldery. Which we are not.
Gosh, I feel kind of bad complaining about Disney, lol!

We have stayed at almost every resort on property and I have to pick the Poly.Didn't like the decor, it just felt old and outdated to me. Maybe it's better now but it's not my favorite!

AsMu--stayed there for our first trip. Our room was located in the farthest building from everything--food court/shop/buses...

It was okay but my least favorite so far. If I had to stay there again, I would book a preferred room.

I've only ever stayed off site, WL, or the Poly. And loved both WL and Poly! I've visited a lot of the resorts and have loved all of them for different reasons. Grand Floridian was perfect, but I felt the decor was a little formal. That's my only real complaint, and it's not even a bad thing!

we have only ever stayed deluxe or dvc. least favorite is kidani and we are dvc at akl. the rooms were nice but too far to walk and i think it lacks most of the charm of jambo house.

oh..i stayed at shades of green once with my grandparents about ten years ago. if that counts as a disney hotel then that would be least favorite. i actually would go so far as to say i hated it. I would 100% never stay there again.

We don't have a least favorite as we've stayed at CBR, WL, AKL, BC, Poly, & GF and have loved them all :goodvibes. We have stayed at WL, AKL, & GF more than once, but wouldn't hesitate to return to any of the others ;).

The Poly. Yes, THE Poly. I know this is heresy, but there it is. We really did not like it. We stayed in a MK view room and had a great view, but that was about the only positive about the resort. The monorail access was not fantastic, and the decor just didn't do it for me. To each their own!

Yep. My least favorite was the Poly too. I know...I feel like I should duck and cover or something, lol.

ASMusic was pretty terrible. It was crowded and noisy and the rooms were small, plus I didn't like the theme. The bus transportation was very stressful as well. I much prefer Pop if we stay at the value level, the bus transportation is a billion times better than All Star.

Also I didn't like SSR. The pool was nice but the resort feels like an apartment complex with no theme. The buses were irregular and took forever to get anywhere. If I had to stay there again I would definitely rent a car. OKW is much nicer in my opinion. ::yes::

My least favorite was the Pop Century. The CMs were great. We loves the feel of the resort and the main pool. I just really hated the beds. They were so uncomfortable!!

Okay, so I got to thinking about this question, and here's my answer! If it meant a trip to Disney, I wouldn't mind staying at any of these resorts! I have my favorites of course!:lovestruc

Our 2 least favorites are CSR and AKL. Don't really like anything over in that corner of the resort.

I totally agree with you. If it meant the difference between going and not going, there isn't a resort I wouldn't stay at.....as long as it is on property.

ASMu. We stayed in a family suite and it was awful. The furnishings looked cheap and kind of beat up. The door to the accessible bathroom (didn't need accessible suite) didn't close, the toilet wasn't properly seated on the floor, and housekeeping was terrible (very late in the day every day and not particularly thorough.......the only time in all our trips that I stopped tipping housekeeping). If it was FREE, I wouldn't stay there again.

LOL! LOL! :lmao:

Any All Star Resort and POP

Didn't hate them - just my least favourite are value resorts. I am not fond of the huge icons. I feel more like I am living in a cartoon than a magical place or fantasy. By contrast, I love the special, more luxurious atmosphere in the mods or deluxe resorts.

Plus, I have often been in All Star resorts with large groups of teenagers. Their excitement bubbles over into boisterous noise and bouncy activity. Multiply that overt energy many times over such as in a large group with minimal adult supervision - eeek!
The young people aren't necessarily rude, just overwhelming on times. Although my heart smiles at their exuberance, at the end of the day I prefer be be elsewhere for the sake of my headache and sore feet.

Moderate-CBR Caribbean Beach
The busses were horrific when we stayed there a long time ago, felt too spread out, not easy to het around. I'm Willing to try again.

Deluxe-BW Board Walk
Dint feel didn't, didn't like no restraints inside building, and the board walk had cool looking kiosks, but where always closed.

We have stayed
Deluxe

Polynesian
Grand Floridian
Board walk
Wilderness lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge

Moderate
Caribbean beach
Coronado springs
Port Orleans

Value
Pop century
All star sports

Off stile
Hilton

I have only stayed at two resorts, the WL and the YC. While they are both very nice resorts, the YC was my least favorite. Having to share a bus with the BW, BC, Swan, and Dolphin was just too much of an inconvenience with it always being packed beyond safely standing. Perhaps because I love the WL so much I may find fault anywhere but the WL.:)
