You should definitely check out the thread on the boards with the updated list. When we went in '09, I printed it out the day before we left and brought the lists with me and when we got hungry I referred to it and we found some excellent snacks.:woohoo: The eggrolls in AK were awesome! One of our favorite finds! I could be wrong, but I believe that the make your own pretzels at Goofys are no longer on the plan.:sad2: Anyhow, with a little bit of research you should be able to find some much better ways to use those credits!:dance3:

I did it! All caught up to page 55!

Traveling on Christmas day is awesome! Before we had the boys, we used to travel every Christmas. We wake up and open presents and pack the car and go. Traffic is very light, so you make really good time. I think it is kind of fun to spend Christmas traveling with people you like to someplace super-cool. The only drawback is that a lot of places are closed on Christmas. I have eaten many Christmas dinners at the Waffle House because it was the only open restaurant. You don't want to let your gas get too low, either, because you never know if the stations will be open.

Your trip is getting so cool! The sleigh ride and the Wishes Dessert Party and Deluxe Dining are going to be wonderful. The Dessert Party and Deluxe Dining are both things we want to try someday when we have an adults only trip. Like that's going to happen any time soon...

Favorite Snack Credit Items: Fudge from the Confectionery, Cappuccino Smoothie from Auntie Gravity's, and the Ham and Cheese Croissant from Boulangerie Patisserie.

Hi everyone! I am so sorry, but I won't be posting an update for The Waiting Game this week. I know this is the second time I haven't posted it and I apologize to all of my loyal followers, but it has been a pretty rotten day.

I woke up at 5:00 this morning to find out that my aunt had passed away. We weren't exceptionally close, but it was heartbreaking because she was my mom's only sibling. My mom had already lost both of her parents, so she is taking this very hard. My aunt has two children and two grandchildren that are literally going to be lost without her.

On the bright side, John came home today. I feel like he came back to me just when I needed him most, so I am very grateful to have him by my side. Plus, he found out that he will be home the next two weekends. That means he will be home for Thanksgiving! I can't tell you how happy I am to hear this!

I promise I will be back next week with the next round of the game. I just don't have it in me to find a picture and upload it to photobucket and all that jazz tonight. I will be back tomorrow to respond to all of your comments and hopefully catch up on your TRs and PTRs. Thank you all for your patience and support!

I am so sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you and your family. I'm glad that John's home and will be home for Thanksgiving.

Howard was working overtime today, so I was excited to play your game on time. I just had a feeling that something was up though since it was getting late. I hate that this is the day you had to deal with, but thank God John's home for you.

With my constant page refreshing, I'm going to see it as reading your news update sooner so I could start praying for you and your family sooner. I pray that God brings comfort, peace, and understanding to your family, especially to your mom.

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I'm so glad that John is there with you so you don't have to be alone right now. And yay for him being home for Thanksgiving! :goodvibes

So sorry for your family's loss. I know John being home will help greatly. Don't worry about us; we will still be here.

I'm so sorry :( I'm glad John is home with you during thus time  if you need someone to talk to, feel free to call or text me

I am so sorry for your family's loss  I'm glad John will be home for Thnanksgiving and by your side

So, so sorry for your loss! But I'm so happy that you've been able to have the support of John when you needed him. Sending warm thoughts to you and your family!

I am so sorry about your loss! I am glad you have John with you to help you through this! My thoughts are with you!

Cool! I'm glad I was able to help you with the remaining credits with my Earl of Sandwich suggestion! It's definitely a worthwhile thing to get for the road instead of letting the credits go to waste! And who doesn't love another opportunity to have EoS?!? Curious to know which one you like and what you'll end up getting!

When Howard and I were debating DDP stuff, I tried to figure out how we would use our snack credits. One other thing besides what you listed that I would definitely want to try is an apple turnover from Main Street Bakery (or any of the other goodies!). I'm hoping to get this in February anyway! I'd also want to try an egg roll from the Adventureland cart. I really don't know why I want to, haha. I just feel like some people have talked about having to get one that I'd want to try it! Paying $2 for it doesn't make sense to me, so using a snack credit would've made sense!

I do know that you can get fries or soup from some places too. I'd get those as well. Oh, and if it were warmer out, I'd try a Kaki Gori thing from Japan!

Did you know there's a list of the snack credit stuff on the dining section of DIS? It's right here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2381706 I loved looking at it when I was researching!

That was a great suggestion! I have had EoS once before but I can't remember what I ordered. I just remember it was delicious! :lovestruc I am excited to have that to cheer me up on my sad last day at WDW!

I love the apple turnover idea! Everything I've ever had from the Main Street bakery has been delicious, so I will most definitely use a snack credit there!

What in the world is a Kaki Gori?! I've never heard of that!

Thank you for the link! I had seen that once but I couldn't find it again. I am going to be obsessing over that for awhile!

Wanted to let you know that this past trip we used a snack credit on getting a float at Aloha Isle, so you may need to try out a float as well. Also, we love the Lemonade Slushes. We always pick one up in DHS at the Anaheim Produce stand on Sunset. I have heard good things about Staring Rolls for muffins. That's alot of snack credits to use, but you could always pick up some snacks at Goofy's on the way out of town (if you still have some credits to burn).

I didn't know you could use a snack credit for a float! Thank you! :) I might need to try one of those lemonade slushes if we get a warm day. They sound yummy! I love the idea of picking up snacks at Goofy's too, since we will be at DTD getting our EoS! That's a great excuse for some last minute shopping!

Omg my sister and I are obsessed with those lemonade slushes on Sunset Blvd! They are so good.

I like that you're planning out your snacks, it's definitely worth it to get the most bang for your buck. Anything from Main Street Bakery is good. Do funnel cakes count as a snack on the DDP?

Thank you! :) I'm not sure about funnel cakes but I need to find out. They are SO good! :lovestruc

One of my favorite snacks is an order of eggrolls from the Yak & Yeti counter service at AK. For one snack credit you get two eggrolls, and they are really yummy! I think it's an excellent use of a snack credit. :thumbsup2

But, my absolute most favorite snack is the napoleon from the bakery in the French pavilion at Epcot. It is amazing and so worth the credit! I have been craving one ever since our trip in January. :goodvibes

I'm really particular about eggrolls, sometimes I love them but sometimes I hate them. I might need to try the Yak & Yeti ones! I've never eaten there, so it would be interesting!

What is the napoleon? I've heard of that before but I can't remember. If it's French I bet it's delicious!

There are a lot of really good uses of the snack credits. Like RachelNinja already posted, there's a thread of the confirmed snacks you can use them for :)

I am looking over it right now and I am realizing how difficult this decision is going to be! So many choices!

My favorite snack credit is a dole whip float at Aloha Isle, I've always used a snack credit. We also like the cinnamon rolls from th MK bakery, frozen lemonade slush from toontown or around ToT in Hs, and Madi's favorite is popcorn. We always get the make your own snacks at goofus candy co in dtd. I usually get three pretzel rods dipped in chocolate with Mickey sprinkles or mini m n m's.

Yum, I love your suggestions! They all sound delicious! :lovestruc

Popcorn...lots of popcorn! And pretzels!!! And Dole Whips!!!! :cool1:

I use my snack credits on the same things every time...I gotta start trying some new things! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Your choices sound pretty good, so I wouldn't feel bad about not expanding your horizons!

I used a snack credit at the bakery in Norway for school bread, which I ate for breakfast the next day! Also, you can get snacks to take on the road too, or even home as souvenirs. Jack got a stick of Pixar gummies to take home with our last snack credit.

I didn't think about using snack credits for souvenirs! That's a great idea! :thumbsup2

Printing off the list is a great idea! That way I would have the entire drive down to think it over and plan out the best pig out choices!

Yay! Congrats on catching up, that's a lot to read! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advice about traveling on Christmas! We are really looking forward to it. It will be some special time, just the two of us, heading to our all time favorite place!

We are really excited about all of the little "extras" we have planned. It should help us deal with the heavy crowds, I think!

Yum, your snack suggestions sound great! Thank you! :)

I'm sorry you waited around for my game and I didn't post it! :guilty: I feel like I robbed you of your Saturday!

I like the way you are looking at it! We really appreciate all of the prayers. It means so much!

Not at all! You didn't rob me of anything; you've been providing a lot of fun for me! Haha, it's a very entertaining game! But when it started getting late and you didn't post, I was praying already that everything was okay because I remember the last time you weren't able to post.

I'm so glad John will be home for Thanksgiving! I had to tell my mom about that when I found out. Haha, I talk about you guys so much that my mom knows who is who (ex. "Joni, the HS English teacher, whose husband is in the army")!

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been around on the boards lately. My aunt's funeral was Wednesday so it was kind of a bad week, and now I have some kind of stomach bug. Plus, I dropped my phone today and broke it into several pieces, so I'm currently doing without. Hopefully I will be back on track soon, because our trip is only 5 weeks away! Can you believe it?!

I feel really bad for falling behind on everyone's TRs and PTRs, but I promise to catch up very soon! Hopefully I will be able to tomorrow. I'm going to take some medicine and head to bed tonight so I can maybe sleep this bug off.

After a two week stretch, it's finally time for Round 19 of The Waiting Game! I trust you all remember the rules. Good luck everyone!
