Hi everyone! I've spent the morning trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's Sunday! I can't believe I have to go back to work tomorrow and DH is leaving again for 3 weeks. Our little Thanksgiving break just flew by! But on the bright side, John will come home on the 17th and be home for several weeks! And you all know what happens next...WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY! In exactly four weeks I will be at my happy place! Gosh, I can't believe it's so close. I could have carried a baby to term in the length of time that I have been waiting for this trip. Yippeeee!

Anyway, John and I are getting ready to go grab some lunch and hit up Big Lots for some Christmas shopping, so I wanted to post the results of Round 20 really quickly. The correct answer this week was Captain EO! Great job, Nermel9! Thanks for playing, everyone else! I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty excited to go on Captain EO next month, but I think it's going to take some persuading to get John to go with me. We'll see!

Hooray for 4 weeks! Captain EO is so good. It's a 20 minute show, but the time flies by! I loved it.

That's exactly how I felt when I saw it. I turned to my friend and whispered, "Is that seriously the miniature from Star Wars? What the heck?" I'm also NOT a Michael Jackson fan, though, so that was going to detract from my enjoyment no matter what.

Ahhh, I can't believe I made such a silly mistake. I knew just by looking at it that it was HISTA because I saw pictures of the front and of the FP distribution sign. I was so excited to know a difficult one just by sight. I completely forgot that Captain EO is now in its place!

HAHA, I started cracking up with your "I could have carried a baby to term in the length of time that I have been waiting for this trip" comment. I'm glad I'll only have to wait 2 trimesters, haha.

I really have to post an update for my TR and PTR. I did some trip shopping a few weeks ago, and I even have the pictures taken already! I just haven't written it up! It's not going to happen tonight because my first observation of the year is tomorrow morning during 1st period ... oh joy!

We skipped Captain EO while we were there, I thought about going to see it but it was always that or checking the wait times for Soarin and getting FP's for that and Soarin always won!

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving! I realized this was the first Thanksgiving Howard and I celebrated as an engaged couple! Last year was our first Thanksgiving ever (my mom's side of the family invited him). I wonder what next Thanksgiving will be if we bump up the wedding date!

OoOo, a new phone! Howard and I eventually want to get iPhones later in the game because we like the idea of the video chat! I think that feature is so cool because we use the webcam fairly often now. It'd be such a comfort to be able to see his face during a prep period or something after a particularly frustrating class.

AHHH, you're less than a month!!! We're down to 84 days!

Congratulations on your first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple! That is so exciting! Now it's time for your first Christmas as soon-to-be-newlyweds!

I really like my iPhone! I am not as tech savvy as John, but there are a lot of great apps that I have downloaded that really make life easier. Plus, I love being able to check my email on the go!

Happy December everyone! Can you believe I am going to Disney THIS MONTH?!?! ... ...

I still can't wrap my head around this. I am so excited! I thought that it would be fun since it's December to show you guys my Disney infused Christmas list! John and I are not exchanging gifts this year because our trip is our gift, plus we agreed to count our souvenirs as gifts too. However, my mom and dad spoil us rotten with gifts every year, so I had to come up with a list for them!

Here are the Disney items I put on my list:

1. Dooney and Bourke Disney Sketch Wristlet

When they first came out with these purses with the white background I saw one on another DISer's TR. I usually am not big on expensive purses, but I fell in love with it! I grappled with whether or not to get one for awhile, and I had finally beaten the demons and decided to pass when they came out with these colorful little numbers. I had to have one! I desperately wanted the crossbody bag, but they are $150 and I don't feel right asking my parents for it. The clutch, on the other hand, is only $49 and I think it would be nice to carry around the parks on my trip. I just can't decided which color I like best. Pink or purple? Pink or purple?! I asked for either. Fingers crossed!

2. Jim Shore Disney Figurine

I mentioned earlier in my PTR that I am obsessed with Jim Shore. I wrote him a fan letter a few years ago and he wrote me back personally. It the nicest letter I have ever gotten, and since then I have basically worshipped the ground he walks on. I used to collect his angels, but it only seemed appropriate for me to start collecting his Disney pieces. I have a small sorcerer Mickey that I received as a wedding gift, the Captain Hook/Mr. Smee I got from Disney Movie Rewards, and a Christmas Tinkerbell I just recently caved and bought on QVC. I really want the one in the picture because it is Disney and a teacher, so it's perfect for me!

3. Disney Store Organic Cotton Tees

I really want some new Disney shirts to wear on my trip, and these organic cotton ones are gorgeous! As you know, I bought a few for myself, but I'm going to be in Disney for seven days so I need a few more! I really like the Eeyore one because Eeyore is one of my favorite Disney characters and purple is my favorite color!

4. Disney Sing It: Family Hits for Wii

I love playing those singing games on the Wii, even though I'm terrible at them. I have the Disney Sing It game that has songs from High School Musical and from Miley Cyrus and Aly and AJ. It is pretty fun, but I'm definitely more interested in the classic Disney songs. When I saw this was out I flipped. It has all of the greats, like "Under the Sea" and "Beauty and the Beast"! If I get this I will definitely play is constantly, and John will have to wear earplugs constantly!

5. Beauty and the Beast DVD

This is one of my top three favorite Disney movies (along with The Lion King and Aladdin). I only own it on VHS, so I really really want it on DVD. My best friend spilled the beans and told me she got me a portable DVD player for Christmas, so I'm hoping I get this so I can watch it on the way to Disney!

6. Toy Story 3 DVD

John and I both love Toy Story movies, and this one was by far the best of the three in my opinion. I saw it in theaters and then I rented it from the Red Box the other day and watched it again. It only makes sense that I should own it, right?

Well, there you have it! That is my Disney themed Christmas list! You will have to wait until my TR to find out if I got what I asked for, because I am going to make Christmas Day the beginning of the report since that is when we are leaving!

I will be back soon to do a trip related update. I am excited about planning because I downloaded an awesome app for my iPhone that keeps track of wait times, my dining reservations, park hours, my favorite attractions, and more! I paid $4.99 for it but I think it was worth it. I am making it my goal this weekend to finish my binder, so hopefully I can post an update about that and mousekeeping envelopes soon!

I like the Eeyore tee, it's so cute, and I love purple too, pretty much everything I own is purple! My ultimate Christmas present this year would be a pair of purple Uggs...they're soooo pretty!

I also want the Beauty and the Beast DVD! And I just bought Toy Story 3 on Black Friday for $13!!! I haven't watched it yet though, maybe this weekend!

I collect a lot of the Disney Precious Moments. I think when I counted last and by last I mean now, I have 9 figurines and want many more! It was easier to collect them when I worked for WDW and got the 50% off CM shopping discount!

Those Disney Precious Moments are so adorable! I always drool over those when we are at WDW. They can be a little pricey, though! Jim Shore can be too. I usually only get a new one on special occasions. Maybe I will get one at Disney!

Oprah's Favorite Things was so great this year! She did two episodes, and the second audience was totally surprised. It was hilarious! They got the better gifts, too. She gave them all a brand new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle!
