Yay for getting to see John soon! :yay: I know you must be so excited - seven weeks is such a long time!

I'm going to guess Jungle Cruise as well!

It's Jungle Cruise!

I am still thinking of getting that first shirt of yours. I really need to decide soon!

The shirts you got are really cute, glad they fit! :thumbsup2

I know what you mean about the online reservations. Mine aren't showing up and I leave in about a week! They don't work when i enter the reservation number, either. So I was really freaking out until I called and they confirmed them for me...they said the system's being worked on or something. :confused3 I figure as long as I have my confirmation numbers when I show up I'll be good.

I'm all caught up. So happy that John will be back this week.:banana:

Your shirt purchases are very cute. I need to stay off the disney store site for awhile, but I really want to order me one.

Would have guessed Jungle Cruise, but I think a few people beat me to that.

And yay for the trip being paid off!!!!!

Yay for getting the new shirts! Howard and I actually went to the Disney Store yesterday, and I got the castle shirt as well. They only had 2 left! It's definitely a popular one. We went to Five Below and Walmart too, and I got stuff for the trip! I'll have to write up a PTR update after church today. Oh, and I should probably finish my lesson plans as well ... haha.

I think it's Indiana Jones! I know someone already guessed it, but I think it's still so much fun!

I'm glad the shirts you ordered fit! :thumbsup2 Sometimes Disney sizes are weird, they either run big or REALLY small! :confused3

My ADR's are finally back too, that was SO annoying! I made sure I copied and pasted them onto a blank page and printed out 2 copies of them, one for my binder, and one to carry with me in the parks, just in case this happens again!

Yay I'm so happy John is coming home next weekend! I will try not to text you too much when I get to Disney so I don't interrupt your reunion! He gets home the 14th right? :cool1:

Happy Sunday everyone! :) Did you remember to set your clocks back an hour? I love it when we "fall back". That extra hour really seems to make a difference and I always feel so productive! So to continue my streak of daylight savings productivity I am here to post the results of Round 18 of The Waiting Game! I am trying to type this with one hand because I have a sleepy puppy in my lap so this might be littered with typos, but we'll make it work!

Okay, the correct answer this week was Indiana Jones' Epic Stunt Spectacular! Great job, DisneyFirefly! :thumbsup2 Thanks for playing, everyone else! :cheer2:

Here is the update scoreboard:

Scoresheet
DisneyFirefly- 2
Nermel9- 4
ChildAtHeart82- 4
RachelNinja- 6
HeatherBelle614- 1
shelbys mommy- 1

There are seven more weeks until our trip, so that means seven more chances for someone to win this thing! I am so glad everyone is still playing along and seeming to enjoy it! :)

Indiana Jones?

You got it! Great job! :thumbsup2

It's tough to be a bug?

That's a great guess! :)

Jungle cruise?

Another great guess! :goodvibes

I am extremely excited! :lovestruc The last seven weeks have crawled by!

This is a tough one. Yay for getting to see John soon! :)

I tried to pick a tricky one this week! :) Thank you!

You should definitely get it! It fits really well, and it's so pretty and sparkly in real life!

Thank you! :)

Yeah that is exactly what was happening with my ADRs. I couldn't search for them or anything. I think as long as you have your confirmation numbers you are fine! There's just something going on with the website. That's awesome that your trip is so close! :thumbsup2

Thank you! I'm happy too! :)

You should get a shirt! They are pretty affordable. The organic cotton shirts are 2 for $24, which isn't bad at all!

I'm am so excited to have our trip paid off! Now I just have to get through the next seven weeks until we leave! :woohoo:

Yay! I'm so glad you got the castle shirt! I thought about you when I picked that one out because it reminded me of the shirts you purchased.

Haha, writing a PTR update definitely sounds like more fun that finishing lesson plans! I can't wait to read about everthing you bought!

You got it! Good job! :thumbsup2

Thank you! I was a little worried they wouldn't fit, but they are perfect! A lot of times shirts will be too loose on me but then too short for some reason, and I'm always afraid that will happen when I shop online, but these are great!

I'm glad your ADRs are back too! I had been really stressed about that ever since I called and talked to that super rude CM I texted you about. Good idea on printing out copies! I need to do that too!

John does get home on the 14th, but you can definitely still text me! I am really looking forward to your texts from the parks. I can't wait to hear your live updates and live vicariously through you! :rotfl:

Hi everyone! :wave2: I'm back for my second update of the day! See, I told you I was really productive when the time changes! ;)

Anyhoo, I actually had a chance to sit down and do some Disney planning today. I decided to focus on getting the most out of our DxDP, and I've run into a brick wall. I managed to figure out how we will use every TS/CS credit thanks to Rachel (RachelNinja) and her suggestion to get EoS for the road on our last day. However, I am really struggling with figuring out how to use our snack credits. The one and only time DH and I had the dining plan in the past we were severely misinformed about the options available for the snack credits. Therefore, we ended up wasting our credits on stuff like Smart Water and strawberry pops. :headache: I am determined not to make the same mistake twice, so I have decided to plan out every snack I intend to get on this upcoming trip!

So far I only have three choices that I am sure about:

First, I want to get a dole whip soft serve at MK. I have never had one before and it is at the top of my must try list. You can't get the float with a snack credit, but I didn't really want the float anyway, so this is working out perfectly.

Next, I am definitely going to get something from Karamel Kuche in Germany at Epcot. I have been a little bit obsessed with this ever since I read about it in Jen's (Nermel9) PTR and Dana's (DisneyFirefly) TR. I was tickled pink when I saw that there is a wide selection of items you can use a snack credit for here, like caramel chocolate marshmallows and cupcakes! :cloud9: As a matter of fact, I might use 2 snack credits here.

Finally, I want to use a snack credit to try the tye dye cheesecake at POP. I have heard mixed reviews about it, but it seems like a POP staple and I would feel jipped if I didn't try it at least once! :)

So, you see my dilemma, right? Well, when life hands you dilemmas, you make DILEMMANADE! :duck: Anyway, I really need your help deciding how to use my additional snack credits! Remember, DH and I get 14 each, so we have a lot to use! What are your MUST HAVE snacks at WDW that I can use a snack credit for? I am looking for snacks from all over the World, so please share all of your favorites! Thanks! :goodvibes

Cool! I'm glad I was able to help you with the remaining credits with my Earl of Sandwich suggestion! It's definitely a worthwhile thing to get for the road instead of letting the credits go to waste! And who doesn't love another opportunity to have EoS?!? Curious to know which one you like and what you'll end up getting!

When Howard and I were debating DDP stuff, I tried to figure out how we would use our snack credits. One other thing besides what you listed that I would definitely want to try is an apple turnover from Main Street Bakery (or any of the other goodies!). I'm hoping to get this in February anyway! I'd also want to try an egg roll from the Adventureland cart. I really don't know why I want to, haha. I just feel like some people have talked about having to get one that I'd want to try it! Paying $2 for it doesn't make sense to me, so using a snack credit would've made sense!

I do know that you can get fries or soup from some places too. I'd get those as well. Oh, and if it were warmer out, I'd try a Kaki Gori thing from Japan!

Did you know there's a list of the snack credit stuff on the dining section of DIS? It's right here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2381706 I loved looking at it when I was researching!

Wanted to let you know that this past trip we used a snack credit on getting a float at Aloha Isle, so you may need to try out a float as well. Also, we love the Lemonade Slushes. We always pick one up in DHS at the Anaheim Produce stand on Sunset. I have heard good things about Staring Rolls for muffins. That's alot of snack credits to use, but you could always pick up some snacks at Goofy's on the way out of town (if you still have some credits to burn).

Omg my sister and I are obsessed with those lemonade slushes on Sunset Blvd! They are so good.

I like that you're planning out your snacks, it's definitely worth it to get the most bang for your buck. Anything from Main Street Bakery is good. Do funnel cakes count as a snack on the DDP?

One of my favorite snacks is an order of eggrolls from the Yak & Yeti counter service at AK. For one snack credit you get two eggrolls, and they are really yummy! I think it's an excellent use of a snack credit. :thumbsup2

But, my absolute most favorite snack is the napoleon from the bakery in the French pavilion at Epcot. It is amazing and so worth the credit! I have been craving one ever since our trip in January. :goodvibes

There are a lot of really good uses of the snack credits. Like RachelNinja already posted, there's a thread of the confirmed snacks you can use them for :)

My favorite snack credit is a dole whip float at Aloha Isle, I've always used a snack credit. We also like the cinnamon rolls from th MK bakery, frozen lemonade slush from toontown or around ToT in Hs, and Madi's favorite is popcorn. We always get the make your own snacks at goofus candy co in dtd. I usually get three pretzel rods dipped in chocolate with Mickey sprinkles or mini m n m's.

Popcorn...lots of popcorn! And pretzels!!! And Dole Whips!!!! :cool1:

I use my snack credits on the same things every time...I gotta start trying some new things! :rotfl:

I used a snack credit at the bakery in Norway for school bread, which I ate for breakfast the next day! Also, you can get snacks to take on the road too, or even home as souvenirs. Jack got a stick of Pixar gummies to take home with our last snack credit.
