The Cast:

Me (I’m not telling my age): Chief decision maker, planner and organiser extraordinaire
Darren (39): Mr. Grumpy, Marathon Man and Map Reader
Mollie (10): Jekyll & Hyde pre-teen and big girls blouse
Kirsty (4): Scaredy Cat and Drama Queen

After a very late night last night we have a lie in today, a real lie in we don’t get up till 9:00! We are going back to Cyprus Grove to pick up our wedding photos (gosh I can’t believe its actually slipped my mind that we got married. If it wasn’t for my wedding ring I would think it was all just a figment of my overactive imagination!). Afterwards, if I’m in the mood, we will do some shopping if I’m not then we’ll visit Typhoon Lagoon.

We stop on route for breakfast at Ponderosa then make our way to Cyprus Grove. We view the photos inside the beautiful mansion house and I have to say that they have turned out very well, not being the most photogenic person there are actually some really nice ones. We say our goodbyes and as we are leaving there is a couple just turning up for their wedding. I hope they have as great a day as we did and I wish I could do it all again!

Driving back Darren asks “are you in the mood”? Later dear we have the kids in the car, oh you mean for shopping, yeah okay then let’s give it a try. If it had been his credit card I’d been using he would have sorely regretted asking that question because I was seriously ‘in the mood’ and did severe damage to my little flexible friend, VISA! I bought trousers, jumpers and shirts for work, casual tops, t-shirts and jeans, DVDs, and CDs. Darren got himself some jeans and things as well and we both bought loads and loads of stuff for the girls. A few hours and lots of bags later we leave the shopping mall and make a stop at the perfume shop where I buy myself some nice new perfume and some kiddie stuff for the girls Christmas stockings. Now we really are finished, we’re all shopped out and its time to head on home. Yeah baby!!!

We were going to have a swim but by the time we got back the weather had taken a turn for the worse so after a little rest we head off to DTD for an early dinner. We try the Rainforest Café again and tonight its an hour wait but we’re not in any rush and as we’re not yet at the stage where we could eat the proverbial scabby horse we decide to wait. We pop into the shops and I pick up some more Christmas decorations, I haven’t mentioned this but I’ve been collecting decorations from various stores throughout the parks each day, I think I might possibly need a bigger tree, maybe even a bigger house, this year! We also get the girls some more pins. Then its time for dinner. The food at RC is what I would call passable but we go for the fun and atmosphere not the food so it was okay.

When we are finished we decide to head over to EPCOT for Illuminations, well I’ve only seen it once this trip. We wander around world showcase for a little while but again EPCOT is absolutely packed so we give up and just stake a spot for the show, even that was hard to do as most of the good spots were already taken but a group of very nice foreign teenagers budged up and let us squeeze in beside them. I didn’t realise that the Food & Wine exhibition had such an impact on EPCOT, will have to try and avoid this next time if possible. Darren went off to get some drinks. Shortly before the show is due to begin we get talking to a family from North Carolina who have three year old twins. They were lovely little girls and Mollie and Kirsty really enjoyed their company. The children were too busy playing to be bothered watching the show but the adults all enjoyed it. Afterwards we said our goodbyes but we didn’t want to rush with the masses so again we got another drink and just let the crowds die down. On the way out I stopped at the shop and bought the CD for Reflections of Earth and whenever I’m in need of a Disney pick me up it gets put on.

Tomorrow we are visiting Sea World so it will be another early start. Bye for now.
