Try listening to all the major US networks saying that Canada is at fault. I am not saying that we are innocent but lets at least investigate the issue first.

Know what you mean completely, Boss. It's annoying when networks jump to a conclusion, only to be wrong 10 minutes later. (and yes, US media are really, really good at doing this ).

For all I know, the problem did start here in Ohio -- and if that's true, then so be it. But it is annoying when the same network will have an "expert" on saying that it'll take months to pinpoint the cause of this and then right after the commercial break, the anchors will talk about how it's ____'s fault (fill in the city/state/province/country's name).

We have to remember Steve that this is the same idiot who devoted hours of getting to the bottom of why a ladder purchased at Wal-Mart did not fold properly. Lets face it, if there are no wars, bombing, snipers, hostage taking, or suicide missions going on these guys have to make something out of nothing. This pisses me off as much as it does you. Can you believe that CNN reported that there was massive looting and gun firing in Toronto last Thursday? God I live here and didn’t see or hear anything. Honestly, I know where you are coming from. What happened to the days when the job of a good reporter was reporting the news, not fabricating or sensationalizing it.

Those days were gone when anchors and news reporters started commanding million dollar salaries. These people are being paid loads of money and have to look like they are earning it.

Sandy, I'd never mistake a bad joke for being "too subtle." Trust me, the joke was bad. I've heard plenty of bad jokes, and that was one of em. I enjoy sarcasm as much as the next guy...but that was brutal.
