I hope you find a home for your cat, but please don't dump it off at some spca or anything, take him/her to a no-kill shelter if you can't find anyone to take it.

I already had plans to take her to a no-kill shelter if nobody takes her. In the meantime, however, I'm doing all that I can to find her a good home.

Adding an OU to a word that doesn't normally have one isn't done correctly EVER.

Not chicken. Just being considerate to the other members of the society. Who am I, humble being that I am, to shut down such a wholesome and fun-filled thread like this? It would be an act of pure selfishness to do that, just because I separate my oreos and lick the creme before eating the cookie first. But I couldn't do that.

AP, why can't you take Maleficent?

She, let's just say, does not travel well. The move back and forth from Fort Hell showed me that. Tranquilizers do no good. Plus, with each move she's gone through, her behavior gets progressively more rotten. Basically, I don't want to keep moving her around - and I know there will be more moves in the future. She needs a nice, stable home and some kids to play with. If I had known that I would be carting her all over the place, I never would've gotten her. I believe that animals have feelings too (especially when they become part of a family) and they deserve happiness, and I don't think she'll be too happy with this move. She is still punishing me for the last move, and that was six months ago.
I'm sad about it, but I'm trying to do what will be best for her.

Wow Ap that is so sad . I had the same problem with my cat when we first got her. We moved 5 times in about 3 years. She hated it, but after a couple of months always adjusted.

Sounds like you're trying to do what's best. I hope you find a home for her before you go. If she's as bad as that, I don't think she'll be too happy in a shelter either.

I wish you and Maleficient, the best. Maybe someone will come through at the last minute.

Second off, being considerate and humble is waaaaaay overrated.
