Adri you are 100% correct. The problem is how we stop the Barbara Walters of the world from paying millions of dollars to interview these people. I agree that people will do what ever it takes to become famous but there should be a line.

Madonna you are right. So long as they are talking about you. However, what you were doing was always legal where as these jerks are obstructing justice by letting the real criminals get away. Think about it, a person turns themself in for a crime they did not commit - the real killer walks free, free to do it again.

How we stop? It's a highly difficult task. These days reality TV rules, and car chases (OJ-style) and police standoffs are of the highest priority for the public. That's what everyone wants. If we stop watching this crap, the ratings will plummit and it will go away. But I just don't see it happening. Big Brother here we come, and I don't mean the TV show.

Steve - if you like I can gladly give you a play-by-play of the Seattle/Toronto game up until the 3rd inning...the game was over by then anyhow with the Jays being 4 runs up and all - after that the Mariner's ATTEMPTED to win with a run or two...but they (((gasp))) didn't succeed...

Actually - it was worth watching up until the bottom of the 9th inning because just when Seattle fans thought that it couldn't get any worse - that Bret Boone dude struckout with two runners on; thus ending the game

I would have to agree with you Adri with respect to all the reality TV shows that have left us questioning what is right from what is wrong. If it sizzles it sells. What a shame.

Madonna, Bret Boone, was he not the singer of that song "You Light up My Life". Oh wait, that was Debbie. I guess he just plays like her

Actually I didn't get to see any of the game, I was at the gym working out. But I heard all the gory details. Enjoy this small victory while it lasts, cuz it's the only win they're gonna get. I'll have a talk with 'that Boone dude' and get his hat on straight

Funny thing...I wasn't even talking about Carter when I said that "I miss having #29 in Toronto" - I was actually talking about Felix Potvin...but now that you mention it:

Define how hitting a game winning home run to win the 1993 World Series is NOT 'more valuable' then a bunch of stats?
