So true - then some people should quit complaining about having them - shouldn't they?!?

Nope, it's right there in our parenting contract -- we're allowed to complain as much as needed on whatever Disney-related Internet board that we can find. :p :p

Well that makes sense Steve - especially since all that most people do on Disney-related Internet board's is complain  Did I just say that outloud?!?

Sorry, can't help you there -- I'll be going out if you're babysitting. ;) :teeth: :p

Ok you pay me $100/hr and it's a deal ... but I don't do diapers, and if any of them cry for longer than 5 mins they're goin in the closet ;) :teeth:

And I get to bring said hot guy over :p

Yeah, but when one of the little suckers come up to you and say "I love you" out of the clear blue sky, it makes it all worth it. :)

There's nothing like that feeling, right ITSA!!!!

Best feeling you can have while still fully clothed. ;)

For me, it's when they sneak up behind me and give me a big hug. They aren't real big on the I love you's but those hugs mean even more to me.

Hi Miss Jasmine
Or when they climb into bed and fall back asleep hugging you.

Well when they're crying for like an hour or screaming at the top of their lungs throwing a huge fit, or puking on you, that's the part I'm glad to not have to deal with. Can I just have the good parts? :teeth:

I don't know, I'm happy doing what I want to do, when I want to do it - sometimes it seems nice to have a "lil one" around, but other times I'd rather die than go through that crap. :p

Don't worry boss you'll have one of your own one day, and then you won't be Boss anymore. You'll be daddy and nothing else will matter.

I think I'm making myself sick.

Even those parts aren't any big deal. It's just cool to have a little person look up to you and totally rely on you to do everything. Yes, we all get worn out and tired of correcting the same behaviors over and over, but there isn't a more rewarding experience than raising a child.

No such thing as "just the good parts' Adri but I am sure that you already know that. i guess what really sucks in this world is that you have to take the good with the bad. But alas, there are those who only want to see the world through rose coloured glasses.

OMG!!! Is everyone gonna start singing a round of 'Cum Ba Ya' or something now?!?

Ok - I have to say that when my precious fish "Kuzko" use to look up at me with those little beady eyes that said 'feed me' or 'Im hungry' or 'change my water' and then how he understood me after telling him over and over again how to not knock himself out by raming his head into the side of the aquarium, there was never a more rewarding experience in my life then that...

Are we talking about pets (human or otherwise)? My cat hates me and bites me every chance she gets. And she has taken to pulling my hair and hitting me on the head in the mornings. But somehow I don't get that rewarding sense of pride in her like I think I'm supposed to. So, my child hates me and I'm starting to think she'd be better as a nice pair of furry socks.

For some reason I just got reminded of our dog. Every time I open the sliding glass door to let her out back, she hits the screen door.....EVERY TIME. :)

AP - I just don't understand cats...personally they scare me - I think that they are possessed. I mean - what is with their obsession of having to be in another room in the house like someone lit a match under their butt??? You know what I mean - one second they are sitting beside you thinking their happy little *cat thoughts*:

'humm...need to lick this paw again...I hope my meow mix isn't dry tonight...I hope that she changed my litter box...I think - I - have - to - go - to - the - next - room - like - right - NOW!!!!!'

...and BAMM!!! The next second out of nowhere they JET into the next room...and then sit there again thinking *happy cat thought's*...er....I just don't get it, I believe that they really CAN see dead people...

Higgs wanders in...and sits quietly at the back, hoping that no one will notice he's been out of the discussion for the lasrt week...and owning no pets, he must fake his way into the present discussion....

I know M...I don't get cats either...:)

There, that did it....:p

Cats are good if you are the type of person that wants a pet that isn't clingy.
