Day 8- Castaway Kinda....
Well I got up early (remember the engines?) and watched us back into castaway. I was praying that Oneill would wake up without a fever and we could at least swim in the ocean for awhile and enjoy the island. I woke him up and he still had a low grade fever but he wanted to go to Castaway so we got ready and as we are getting ready he throws up. I honestly figured this was from motion sickness as he was having trouble walking and complaing about feeling like he was moving(the ship was docked) so packed the plastic bag and off we went, I was determined to get him in the ocean. We swam for a bit and sat in the sand and dug for treasure. Then Oneill was worn out already so back to the ship we headed, he threw up on the way back to the ship however again. As we got back on board I was really starting to wish that I hadnt brought him between the norwalk, and then seasick I was so tired. I had not slept a full nite since Nov 11th(something about having kids in the same room when you dont have kids does that to me). But at 6pm they were having Brother Bear and I figured as long has he didnt throw up we would go to that. So he slept for a bit, played on the verhanda and ate a little bit of lunch , and no throw up so we finally made it to Brother Bear. I loved it, so did he. We shopped for some last min gifts. Picked up the whopping 4 pictures we actually were able to have taken. And then went back to the room to pack up. Now remember the games that guest services had given us and Oneill had fallen in love with Hi Ho Cherry OH? Well these presented a problem.....how to fit them in the bag. Oneill really wanted them and I knew that they had to throw them away anyways but I just could not get them in our bags. So after packing and explaining to Oneill that I would really need him to carry his backpack tomorrow at the airport I finally fell asleep. We went thru a thunderstorm that nite and the ship was pretty rocky.
