WDW with 20 month old

trying to decide between a studio at Saratoga vs. Animal Kingdom.

Hmm.. We have stayed at both, and prefer AK because the hotel in itself, is a vacation!

The restuarants are really good, the animals, there are plenty of activities.

For me, the only draw at Saratog is the close proximity to downtown disney....

With a 20 month old, I would probably pick AKL

If you decide AKV, make sure to request Jambo House, otherwise you'll more than likely be very far from the bus stop.

We have never stayed at Saratoga, so can't comment on it.

We stayed at AKL in September and loved everything about it. We'll be back in 2013 for sure for our 30th wedding anniversary and possibly even this September. I would recommend it to anyone -- it was simply beautiful.

Do you think you will be hanging out at the pool a lot? The kids area at AKV-K is the best.

I have three little ones, and just looking at pictures, I would choose AKL. We are actually staying there soon. They have awesome splash areas in the pool, which my boys always seemed to like better than the actual pool when they were little. I have a two-year-old, and I know he'll get the most use out of that.

Plus, the animals are there! My youngest started taking a real interest in all of that right around 20 months...this summer at the zoo was so exciting for him.

Really though...you can't go wrong with any of the resorts from a kid's perspective. Pick what appeals to you because the little one will have a great time anywhere!

I would choose AKL! It is a great hotel with great restaurants and a fun pool!
