Well, I'm checking tonight to ensure our rain gear is packed and included in the backpack for the parks this weekend. We'll be rolling in early on the 4th and staying in the cabins (no campsite accomodations ever secured so we're going with plan B). Looks like scattered showers (<50% chance of rain) and here's to hoping it doesn't interfere with the campfire movie. We've got our smore stuff for the kids and beer for me and hubby! :)

This is Florida, it rains everyday in the summer...

Welcome rains here in southwest FL due to drought conditions last two years. :)
Still, we have been lucky for most of our Fort W camping trips in that the timing of the rain hasn't stopped the campfire program. Well, once I can recall having the sing-a-long beside the pool. It was coming down in buckets.

Yep, if it says 50% chance or less of scattered showers, that is a normal summer day at WDW.

Now, if it says above 70%, then you have to alter your plans.

Yep, we just returned and the weather forecast said 50 percent scattered storms everyday but it was really nice during the day with a storm early each evening. The weather wasn't too bad at all.

Well if you have to deal with rain wouldn't you rather deal with it at Disney ,
I would. (we have to work, can't go)

I ain't afraid of no stinkin' rain!!

You know.......I've lived in South Florida since 1983 and I have not seen so much rain in such a short span of time (not counting hurricanes!!) . Yeah.....3 o'clock showers are normal but I've been seeing 10 o'clock, 1 o'clock, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7, 8 and 9' oclock showers down here in south Fla...

I'm a teacher and have yet to see ONE rain free day since school got out! SERIOUSLY!!!!! NOT ONE!!!!! This stinks! Planning a two week trip next week and keeping my fingers crossed!:worship:

Just back from the 4th of July weekend at the Fort. Filled the backpack with rain gear (just in case) and didn't get a drop. Rained on the way home when we hit Tampa tonight. Definitely not complaining about it. :)
