It's just the etiquite that I'm accustomed to that got me. Teasing and joking involve smilies (wasn't that covered on the PG thread?). There were none here. What am I to think? Sure we tease & flirt with each other. Haven't we all? But in this form, go back and read the posts. They can come across as more than just teasing. It's difficult to tell the difference in a text format. That's what gets me. There was nothing here to indicate how it was to be taken. And that's why you got that kind of reaction....

Okay, I know that since my username is out there for all the world to see, people will notice it. That being said, if I choose to change my name signature in my posts, be it to "AP" or "Boogersnot," it's my business. I also know, that by making such an obvious change, someone's bound to notice some significance, so I am prepared for that. I would have preferred, if people are curious as to my reasons why, a PM directed my way would be nice. As for my solo trip - I doubt I'm the only person in the world who goes on one of those.
Now, I'm going to sit in my corner and play with my camera.

I go on solo trips to WDW all the time - a favorite activity of mine is to talk with Cast Members. Lots of them are really cool - they've also tried to recruit me.

Ok I'll try to keep it short since you all know once I get started I can go for hours (interpret that any way you want, ladies!) In all sincerity, I think someone slipped some sensitive pills into the water last night. Since when is Jay and MK's affection for one another (either virtual or otherwise) considered some sort of top secret, vital to national security? It's anything BUT that. I mean people here actually know how to read. And people know how to remember stuff they DO read. I don't even have to mention any specific examples...suffice it to say that there's been a lot of this so called "advertising". No one really cares if it's real or virtual...but it's like, everywhere you turn...in posts in the CC, here, in DIS chats, profiles, signatures, titles. I'm not complaining about it..I think ALL the chicks here are sexy and I'm in love with all of them, MK included (maybe even some of the guys, but, ahem...no need to get into that). But it's unrealistic to think that people wouldn't dish out a little good natured teasing in response. And honestly, why play like that so openly if you DON'T want anyone to comment on it?
Sure there HAS been a lot of teasing from EVERYONE here. Not just about this stupid chocolate thing, but about love children, late night hot tub visits, duct tape, whips, wench outfits, invisible cloaks, blue balls etc etc. Heck, that's one of the fun things about the thread. Or it used to be. There's ALWAYS been good natured ribbing. ****e, I've sure taken my fair share of that! But now people are getting hurt and/or angry? Since when has ANYTHING here been considered serious? I mean chill out. Yeah everyone has a right to react anyway they want to. And if people are hurt, then I'm sure no one intended that to happen. But this kind of stuff has been going on since the beginning and it's spread around pretty evenly. I don't think anyone was out of line when they teased about the chocolate.

ROFLMAO....that automatic censor is on steroids. There's a guy I listen to on the radio that will often use that five letter word on the air to let people know what he's trying to say, without it being a swear.
