You won't believe this.... For Christmas, I got a "freeze dried vanilla flavored ice cream sandiwich space food" packet. On the back, it says, "Originally packaged for the early Apollo Missions, this 'space treat' is frozen to -40F (-40C), then vacuum dried and placed in a special polyfoil pouch. Freeze-dried foods are used by astronauts eating under weightless conditions in space." I'll open bidding at $1, plus $2 shipping.

OK - I totally agree with keeping with the Space program - I mean if it werent for NASA - ummm hello??? The *world* wouldn't have Test Track nor Mission:Space!!!

Come to think of it - in regards to the Mission:Space thing - seeing as Disney and NASA are rather behind on the entire thing, made me think of a T-R-U-E story:

Back in the 60's - when NASA started putting people in space, NASA needed something VERY important - a type of pen that could write in ANY climate/situation (ie. upside down, under water, no gravity etc...) NASA offered some large sum of money to the person who could come up with such a device - this *task* was offered world-wide...about a week later NASA received a telegram (I believe from Germany) the telegram had a mere 4 words, it read: "Try using a pencil!"

Yeah you know they never sent me the large sum of money for that suggestion either. Probably because I sent it from Germany. I think I should have waited until I got back home.
