Sorry to say Jas but from a guys point of view I am sorry to say that it does. I guess it is because I think like a guy that should I ever be blessed with a daughter I will not allow her to date until she turns 35

After reading Jas's story about her DD...I have to chime in and say that not all guys are like that...but it does suck when they are...good for your daughter Jas for getting rid of him...

Anyway...now on to last night's AI...I have to say I was underwhelmed by both Clay and Ruben...maybe it was just my mood...we had just lost a softball game by giving up 6 runs in the last inning...but I found myself not caring...Oh well....they were both good...just the songs didn't do anything for me at all...

I was just passing the time until "24" came on...great show

That being said...I don't want to give the impression that I am backing away because I don't think my contestant will will...I still favor Ruben over Clay...I will admit Clay has talent...but there's something about him that bugs me (I can't put my finger on it...) I just like Ruben better...that's all...I enjoy watching him more...

One last thing...It is safe to say that when both Clay and Ruben release CDs...I will not be buying either of them...just not the type of music I would pay money for...What can I say? I like 70s and 80s rock...not the pop stuff of today...and when I listen to the radio...it's generally sports talk anyway...(what can I say...not a huge music lover...)

So...that being said...I will conclude this verrrry long post by saying that my vote to be eliminated tonight is...Clay (hey, I need to be consistant...)

Leaving Ruben as the next American Idol....

Oh it's not her I worry about so much. She is a very smart, strong willed, modest girl. I just don't want her to have to deal with real world stuff so early. Oh well it wasn't like one day she wouldn't find out that most men are pigs.

Looks as though I missed quite a showdown this morning, however it was entertaining to read. Also amazing to see the different tastes of every person. I personally LOVE Celine and buy all of her cd's...and I LOVE Clay....but yet others really can't stand Celine and love Clay.....so it just proves...we're all individual...and we have that right. Kudos to Madonna and Boss for standing up for Clay and for setting some straight as to their baby attitudes. Now...here's the fun part**lord help me** I see AP's point about Clay sucking **that's a first**. While I completely disagree with her....I can see how she thinks he sucks. In this generation, to think someone "sucks" is relative. I think she knows he has talents but she really doesn't want to notice them or hear them..like I do J Lo every afternoon. I think she TRUELY SUCKS!

So anyway....on to Jas's daughter.... LOL ....I was her at that age. The first in my grade to "blossom" and very fast at that. She has a good head on her shoulders to be able to see what type of guy he was and to walk away. Don't think you'll have any problems with her.

I found it extremelly offensive when I saw those *Kim Lo* signs on the set of American Idol....puh-leeeeze....

Oh and don't even get me started on Celine (that is exactly why I can see how someone doesn't like Clay - I don't like Celine, so I understand) BUT (there is always a but) she is EXTREMELLY talented, just not my cup of tea, or shall I say not my heart of the ocean?
