I saw my tape of Frenchy when she was on GMA yesterday. It seems that she's now in the cast of Rent and they performed the show's signature number. Let me tell you, if Frenchy hadn't gotten kicked off the show, she and Clay would have been fighting it out last night instead of Ruben. Frenchy had Ruben's personalty and twice the chops he has. Yes, Ruben is a great showman (and if you believe that relationship to the audience is anymore real than Clay's, you've been snowed real good). I can't argue with you guys about song style, but if you look at Clay and Ruben from a perspective of pure talent, Clay wins hands down. Ruben doesn't have the range, clarity of voice or dynamics that Clay has.
