I can't believe that happened. Josh must have had a huge following to beat out Trenyce and Ruben. And what up with that? I'm not a big fan of Ruben's but, bottom 2. I don't think so.

True he hasn't been great of late, but not bottom 2. Bottom 3 maybe (My Clay defender side coming thru).

Hey OT - thought about you last night. First thought that came to mind when I saw Julia, was - all right for OT. She looked great. Not like that bimbo Kimberly C.

So Ruben just barley escaped the clutches of death. Although I am not the greatest Ruben fan in the world I don not believe that he should have been up there with the Drag Queen (DQ from now on). DQ did have one of her better performances but she is not a fan favorite, but Ruben being in the bottom 2! The only thing as shocking as that I would have to say was when Steve Smith scored in his own net to eliminate the Edmonton Oilers from the 1986 playoffs, allowing Calgary to beat them and the Habs to beat Calgary for Lord Stanley’s Cup. (For all you non-hockey fans the Habs are the Montreal Canadiens – ah, the good old days)
Why was Ruben in the bottom 2, was it a case that America felt sorry for Josh and cast more votes his way thinking that 205 already held his own? After much thought I came up with the following possibilities:

1. Josh got a lot of sympathy votes, America feeling that 205 could hold his own. Yet even so, then that would mean that Ruben came in 4th, that Clay, Kim and Josh received more that Ruben? Scary

2. The American Public is tired of Ruben’s Barry White / Luther impersonation the way they were of DQ’s Whitney impersonation. The man has sung the same songs since the show began and was only criticized once by Simon where as all the others were criticized continuously. “Clay, you handle criticism like a grown up” remember those words. Could it be that the American Public just got tired of 205 continuously escaping criticism and were fed up thus took matters into their own hands.

3. What are the demographics of the show? What race are the majority of the voters. I am not looking to start a debate of racial profiling or anything like that but could it be that majority of the voters are white. I only say this as part of my theory that there has not been any rap or true hip hop music in the show, music generally associated with black artist thus maybe the show lacks a black audience. By this I am not saying that they voted DQ off and put 205 in the bottom 2 because they are black but because the majority of the audience who I feel is white, are not Barry White or Whitney fans. Just a thought, please do not read more into what I wrote.

4. AI fixing it for ratings, stir things up a bit, always making sure that Ruben would not be eliminated? Could be, I don’t know.

Maybe some day we'll find out the truth, maybe we'll never know. The Man is a powerful person/organization to bring down, but you can bet we'll be trying to get to the bottom of this.

Ok - we are back...LIVE...on *American Idol Buh-Bye*...and WOW! Didn't that just go to show you that you can never join the AI Buh-Bye show too late...our newest player; Blu was the ONLY player to successfully identify which idol was going to be eliminated, thus surpassing weekly AI residents in points.

After yesterday's show - the points are as follows:
Jasmine still holding strong (just like Clay - and I can say that now, as HE has never been in the bottom 2) with 10 points!!!

Kimdonna - just behind (or shall I call her Ruben) with 8

AP and Higgs - Safe at 7

OT and Sandy - Bedazzled by Julia'-Goulia's beauty at 6

Boss - Still desperately waiting for Kim L to go *Buh-Bye* at 5

I seriously don't understand why everyone is so surprised about Ruben - am I the only one who remember's the look on Nikki McKibbon's face when she was in the bottom 2 with Tymara?!? Nikki KNEW that she was a goner...but low and behold - Tymara was sent home?!?

I think that the big issue is sympathy....why Simon et all don't see this is BEYOND me...think RJ...think Nikki...think Carmen....now Josh...keep it up guys - and America will keep feeling sorry for him also and keep Josh in the game...

All this means is that the show could now come down to Kim L and Josh....oh the pain.................America - if that happens - I demand that Canada takes over on the voting for next season...geesh - can you guys vote ANYTHING right?
