Oh boy! We've got a live one here...:o

Oh my,

Sometimes my wild side slips through and my mother side takes a back seat.

I'll try and behave myself.

Once again, a girl takes a few days off to sleep in blissful medicinal heaven and look what happens.
Lizzie - I'm all woman and there are a few here who can and will be able to prove it.;)
Madonna - Keep trying to recruit some of the newbies to take that topless Splash photo. That'll go in the WDWWDS record books and you'll get a special bonus if you get someone to do it.
Jwill - Speaks the truth. I'll leave it at that.
Boss - After you pass your initiation, one of your titles shall be Conspiracy Brother. Sorry - I watched Undercover Brother twice in 24 hours, so my brain is a little clouded. Feel free to get your funk on.
Is there anything else that I missed?

*a whoa - a whoa oh...*

Just a quick reminder to all AI Buh-Bye players that tonight's show will feature the music of the '60s and the celebrity judge will be Neil Sedaka!!!

psst....anyone want to wager on how many flippin war songs will be sung?!?

Until tomorrow...just like Wil:
*a whoa - a whoa oh...*

More ballads !!!

If I hear anyone complain about Clay and sounding the same I'm going to scream.

At this point I'd be willing to listen to a Heavy Metal, just to change things up a bit.

I'm still holding out for Big Band night.

I did read that once we get down to 4 things change. Each contestant will sing 2 songs. One of his choice and one the judges will pick for them.

That may be interesting. I will be in WDW for the selection of the final 2. Hmm, how can I sneak back to the room for an hour????

I got a call this morning informing me of the 60s theme plus the person on the other end was gloating that this would be Josh's last week (no, not anyone from around here, lol). I'm sad to say but I may have to agree with that based on theme alone. We'll see.

I can't even think of some good songs for them to sing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Am I associating with a bunch of perverts?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I say this delicately?

Yes you are.

Speak for yourself. ;)

Where's that darn angel smilie?????

Hmmmm - anyone up for a chorus of "Age of Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In" or "Let It Be"? Where IS the pukey smilie?

I can just see Treynece in her best hippie outfit.

Oh wait...I can see Josh doing:
"War - what is it good for? Absolutely nothing...say it again..."

Yeah - that and the fact that he's a marine will knock Trenyce's hippy deal right out of the water..."is there a downside to this?"

Hey,

Do the resort pools count as WDW water or is it only in the parks?

My husband is back to being a non believer when I told him about initiation.

Yeecccchhh - resort pool water? All those kids peeing in the water? Absolutely not - pool water is not consumable water - those are practically biohazard areas. Ya gotta stick to the good stuff. If you have any more questions about your mission, feel free to PM myself or any other WDWWDS executive and we'll be more that happy to help you out.

Madonna - I know anything before the 80s is ancient history to you, but War, a Springstein song, was definitely NOT from the 60s :)

How about Josh singing the Phil Ochs song that goes:

I'm only 16, I got a ruptured spleen,
And I always carry a purse.
I got eyes like a bat and my feet are flat,
And my asthma's getting worse

I believe it was the I don't Want to Die Rag

There is a perfect Beatles song that Clay should sing to our own Madonna :)

Trenyce is in trouble. Was Whitney even born in the 60s?

Does Ruben do Otis Redding's Sitting on the Dock of the Bay?
How about a little Sam Cook?

I read about the change once they get down to four. I can only imagine what songs the judges will pick.

Madonna - I know anything before the 80s is ancient history to you, but War, a Springstein song, was definitely NOT from the 60s

First of all - it's SpringstEEN, not stEIn (didn't know Bruce was Jewish)

Second of all - I may be blonde, but no where near dumb...War was written and sung WELL before Springsteen did a cover of it...(I mean geez...it's on the Forest Gump soundtrack) :p

Third of all Springsteen has been around since '68 (which last I checked '68 was umm....the '60's) ;)

That's what I get for posting before the caffeinated drinks arrived in the CC.

Steen/Stein, what's a misplaced letter between friends?

And you're right, I should have remembered, I believe the Temptations did it before Bruce. Was he really performing that far back? I didn't really start paying attention to him until that E-Street boxed set came out. I think it was the last record I ever bought.

The Temptations? What are you kidding me? Sure - it was ORIGINALLY recorded by them...but...they were afraid of it and gave it to:

Mr. Edwin Starr (1942 - 2003) - brought us the hit "War"

As for Bruce; Yes he was performing THAT far back - although his first official album wasn't realeased until 1971...but don't feel bad - I didn't even know who he was until I was jealous of "that girl" up on stage with him in his "Dancing in the Dark" video...

Springsteen revisited "War" last month, launching his Australian tour with a cover version in response to U.S. military action against Iraq.

IMHO - his latest album "The Rising" is by FAR his best yet...:D

I'm blushing, all this talk about me
Yeah - and I have all of Madonna's 700 million...that's why I waste time finding discounts for WDW on these boards

Madonna, some of my earlier stuff ;)
In the Bible Cain slew Abel
and East of Eden he was cast
You're born into this life paying
for the sins of somebody else's past
Daddy worked his whole life for nothing but the pain
Now he walks these empty rooms
looking for something to blame
You inherit the sins, you inherit the flames
Adam raised a Cain
Lost but not forgotten,
from the dark heart of a dream
Adam raised a Cain

Can you see Clay belting this one out
