Did anyone catch the news with a supposed problem with the AI voting? A lead in our local FOX news in NY alluded to a story about that, but I didn't watch the news last night.

That was a close vote. Only four percent separating them all?

Btw, did anyone else think that Justin's version of Unchained Melody paled in comparison to Clay's? Was it just a coincidence that the two original AI performers sang songs that two of the current AI contestants sang?

Yeah I thought it weird that we heard yet another rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Unchained Melody. I'm beginning to think the show has only paid the rights to sing a fixed number of songs.

This was the first time I've actually heard Tamyra sing and I wasn't impressed. And Brillo-head Guarini was terrible. I guess there really is something to the "this season's group is much better than the last" thing.

Yes this group was/is better singers. The last group was better perfomers. I think I take the better perfomers over the better singers, but that's cuz I like to be entertained. Of course after last night, no one is believing this statement because Tamyra was ick as was Justin. I am tired of all these "old" songs. AI producers, if you want to do it right, please, please, please pay out the money you need to, to gain the rights to more current songs. In fact I may be writing an email to Fox. I'm tired of hearing songs from yesteryear during a competition for this period of time.

If I have to hear about the conspiracy with the extra verse or the untallied votes I will SCREAM. I guess now that all the skeletons have been shook out of all the closets, we now must endure this.

And yes this is coming from ME, who has been looking for a conspiracy all along. This is JUST a TV show that I enjoy (well for the most part enjoyed, not really sure how I feel at this point). It's not like we are voting to save someone from death.

What extra chorus on Vincent? Is it something like, you play a chorus on the song backwards and it says "Screw up Clay, screw up Clay"??

Or is it if you take every third letter in the chorus it spells out

Wow, no wonder Clay forgot the words!! I think the producers and the judges are trying to sabotage Clay! First they give him a crappy song, then they change the words around on him at the last minute.

I don't think Simon or Randy want Clay to win. And Paula's just going along with them as she usually does. I think I'm going to vote for Clay 1000 times next week.
