ok. this is for all who have done the backstage magic tour and the keys to the kingdom tours. if money isnt an issue what tour whould you do? :listen: we are planning on doing one of them and wonder what everyone thinks!! thanks

My vote is for the Backstage Magic Tour. It was great, much longer but it covered 3 parks and had lots of variety. Lunch at Mama Melrose was excellent. You do cover some of what's covered in the KTTK tour as well.
Both are good tours though, you just need to decide how much time and money you want to spend.

I know this will sound like I am trying to escape the answer that you are looking for but either one would be fine with me. I have never done any of the tours that WDW has to offer. Main reason why is because of the money. Sorry that I am not much help but if money is really no object just go ahead and do both. :confused3

This is our first trip since DD turned 16 so the KTTK tour is on our agenda for summer. DS wants to do the Sedgeway Tour in EPCOT, so we're doing that as well. With my Disney VISA, we get a discount on both. I didn't think the prices were outrageous at all. Should be excellent--we're all looking forward to both tours! :cool1: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We are heading down 2/19-2/26 and my DD turns 16 on 2/9. We have the Backstage Magic and Segway tours booked! Looking forward to both of them. :bounce:

I've done both, and i'm dying to do the backstage tour again. It just has so many different things in it, versus the keys tour which while very good is only the MK. Backstage covers so much more.

What does the Backstage tour cover? I've done the KRRK tour and I'd love to do another.

Well, it's been a while but a few things Backstage covers is behind the scenes at the American Adventure and Body Wars (since this ride is only open seasonally now not sure if they've substituted something else :confused3 ) , a tour through the building they store the xmas decorations in, another through where rides are renovated and a tour through the building where costumes are sewn. We also went through the cm uniform/costume "warehouse". It was enormous :earseek: At MK we had a look up close at the parade floats including those from Spectro and the Water Parade. Of course, all the while we were filled in on interesting facts and lore. We went down into the utilodors (sp?) at MK as well. We ended the tour walking down main street learning interesting facts about the buildings and then watching the 3:00 parade.
And I did mention the Awesome lunch at Mama Melrose didn't I :cloud9:
It is a long and expensive tour but so much fun. They transport you to each park by an air-conditioned bus and have complimentary bottled water, so it is very comfortable. I hope to take it again some day.
