WDW Tickets....What's the best deal???

Please give me your advice regarding park tickets.

We are going week of Thanksgiving..and will be there from Nov 20-27. Well we want to do a 5 day hoppper (+) ticket, but I have thought about buying a 10 day (w/hopper & no expiration) and using the remaining days for a vacation for 2006.

I have myself, DH, and two kids (they will turn 5 & 3 next month).

What would you suggest for budgeting a trip? I get a little freaked about spending all that $$$ on ticket prices.

I've decided to buy the 10 day/no expiration to use for two trips. For the type of ticket you want, it's only $106 more per adult ticket for 5 more days. If you go again in 2006 and don't invest the money in the ticket now, it'll cost you $219/per 5 day adult ticket extra. If you're going back, get the 10 day with no expiration-without a doubt!

Unless that 2006 trip is scheduled for late November or December, you might want to consider purchasing APs instead of 10-day MYW hoppers. The cost of APs for your family would be $1557. The cost of the 10-day MYW hoppers would be $1331 if purchased in advance thru Disney. Either way, that's a lot of do-re-mi to shell out at a single shot.

Okay, so that's $226 more for the APs but with it, you would have the luxury of not having to think about "wasting" a park day if you just wanted to go for a couple of hours. And you could go every day of your November trip (all 7 of them) and every day of your 2006 trip if you wanted to. There would be no need to worry about "saving" days for the next trip or purchasing additional tickets later if you need more days.

There are also other perks to being an AP holder (like free parking - $8/day, room discounts - up to 40%, merchandise and dining discounts - 10% at select locations). It might be cheaper in the long run. It's just something more to think about.

Does anyone have information on Floridaorlandotickets.net . I have found that they are about $150.00 cheaper that the WDW site for 10 day prem no exp tickets. If some one has a site that is cheaper or if anyone has had a problem with this site before I shell out $1,300.00 to them. Thanks for any help

I have recently purchased a 10day premium, no expiry, park hopper ticket from floridaorlandticket.com with delivery to resort on arrival day. ($362.00 + $10)

I am like you, I was VERY concerned about major $ purchase, but I posted a thread on DIS (Canadian Board) asking for others with experience with this ticket broker and had several positive replies. I also purchased 2 x 4day +1plus Park hoppers (old tickets) from Mapleleaftickets.com at $239.00 with resort delivery cost of $5.

i bought our tickets(10-day non-exp) from ticketmania for $337 for (10+up) and $302(3-9) shipped. they also sent all kind of discount passes, coupon books and maps. top shelf company for sure.

I felt that the 10day premium, non-exp, park hopper was a good buy as it included 5 plus days (for water parks or Disney Quest) which worked out to be only $35 extra. I thought that $7 a day for the "plusses" was a good deal. I usually like to go to a water park at least 1 day during the vacation time.

If you don't need the "plusses" then the other ticket at $337.00 is also a good buy. Ticketmania have a good reputation on www.mousesavers.com.
