Has anybody heard when WDW might bring back the Specialty Cruises where people can rent/charter pontoon boats, motor boats, etc.? Thank you!

I hope they bring the pontoon boats back I want to rent one on our Nov. trip

Thank you. Maybe I’ll look into the fireworks cruise. Appreciate the info

That would be nice…
Epcot is $399
407-WDW- PlAY should be $PAY$
Probably more for holidays

I've been working on doing this and it continues to be frustrating. Saw the initial announcement and called for October (EPCOT) and December (WDW) cruises. Call #1 - can't book, according to CM, only had cruises to end of July, told try try in a couple of weeks. Call #2 - a week or two later, CM said they are bookable 60 days out for resort stay time, I wasn't in that time frame. Call #3 at 7a -- 2 hour hold time, hung up. Call #4 - On phone now after 1:40 hold, no availability at beach/yacht, got reasoning its because of social distancing and mask wearing. Verified current policy is 60 days out (can do resort stay).

Sorry about the frustration! Hopefully you can book the one in December. The fireworks cruises seem to be super popular these days, I called to book one for our September trip the day they opened and of our 9 day trip only one night had availability. Never had issues booking fireworks cruises before this year.

Not sure why they're blaming social distancing for lack of availability, I'd think it's really just lack of boats/space when it comes to Epcot. I believe there are only 4 boats for the Epcot fireworks (there is really only room for that many where they anchor), and they don't combine parties on the boats.

It would be a great way to avoid lack of social distancing for fireworks!
