does anyone know if the WDW shuttle service includes the 'Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels', for example double tree, holiday inn, etc. that are on the other side of downtown disney. they are noted as 'disney' resorts.
thanks

It doesn't, but those hotels have their own shuttles. You'll have to check with the hotel to find out the schedule.

For what it's worth, they aren't Disney hotels - they're referred to as "good neighbor hotels." They aren't on Disney property and they aren't owned by Disney, so guests of those hotels don't receive the perks that guests staying on site receive. The only exception is that guests of the Hilton at DTD get EMH privileges.

As noted...these are 'Disney Good Neighbor' resorts. The employees there are supposedly trained in WDW info, so they should be able to give you correct info. The resorts themselves have been approved by Disney as being 'Disney worthy'. But other than that??? Nada. You have to either get yourself to the parks via a rental car, or use their shuttle buses..which are NOT the WDW buses. You only get EMH's at the one hotel.....Hilton I believe.

Thanks. that's kind of what i thought.
i just came back from my first visit there and was able to stay at the contemporary resort for a conference and was spoiled by the transportation options.
thanks again, good to know they atleast have their own system even without the perks.
