WDW says Heelys not permitted in Parks

Yup, I think it's okay if they do it correctly. I'm sure there are plenty of things worse to worry about @@.
This is so silly.
I've been hit by strollers, and people even walking, smoke blown in my face and more. BUT NEVER even noticed Heeley's.

Well, I don't think it should be done in a crowd of people, even if done correctly. But as to the rest of your post-

that's when adults are supposed to teach kids about "the time and place for everything."

Unfortunately there are a plethora of parents out there that don't practice that themselves.

There is a place to smoke your cigarette, and it's not in line surrounded by several people.

There is a time to perform bodily functions and it's not in the middle of the ride while in a contained space. Not all are as proud of your gas bomb as you are...trust me.

It goes back to common sense, compassion for your fellow man, and following the rules of the establishment that you are visiting.

I guess I just don't think it's bad behavior if he doesn't bother anyone.
I'm not justifying anything, it's my opinion.

BTW, I watching him on them today, and quite frankly, I just don't see how they can go all that fast. You have to really rev it up or have a huge hill to go down to really plow into anyone. I just don't see that happening anywhere other than an empty parking lot.

What about the fact that it's against the law to use them in pretty much any public place outside of a skate park in the state of FL? Or does that not apply to him?

That's just the problem, no one ever thinks they are bothering anyone. My neighbor lets her dog chase me when I'm jogging, and it bothers me, even though he doesn't bite me, he's getting tangled up in my feet, and she just stands there watching, laughing like it's cute or something, even when I say, "will you call him, please?"

People who drive when talking on cell phones never think they are bothering people, even when they are are swerving left to center or driving 40 miles an hour in the fast lane.

People who talk really loud in restaurants never think they are bothering people even when everyone in the room can hear every word of their conversation.

Beyond the fact that it's potentially dangerous to the kid or a passer by and WDW has enough to worry about as it is with people getting hurt in their parks without adding people on wheels, it will bother people, whether or not they want to face it.

I think after 23 pages, this is pretty much just a back and forth.

The question was if these shoes were allowed. The answer (from Walt Disney World) is no they are not.
