WDW Online Reservation System

Has anybody ever gotten Disney's online reservation system to work after they have made reservations? I made my reservations recently with no hassle. Now, everytime I go to the site to check them, I am told that the computers are down and to check back later.

Anybody have better luck than I have had?

I'm by no means a veteran of WDW planning, but the same thing happened to me. I had a lot of trouble for several days and then last Monday and Tuesday the site worked. After that, I got the same message you did. Maybe it would better for you to call? Sorry I don't have more advice.

I'm having the same trouble as well. A few weeks ago I was able to log in to check my reservation and it was there. However in the last couple of days I get the same message you do. My credit card has been charged for the room but I still haven't been mailed a paper confirmation yet. I made the reservation via CRO in early December. I do not like their new computer system. It always seems to be down and it was painfully slow making the reservation over the phone.
 
I was told (or maybe I read on their website?) that phone reservations could not be checked or viewed online. I think when you try to enter your reservation comfirmation number it won't be able to "read" it, or find it, since the numbers are completely different--different length, one has letters, etc. They are two different computer/software systems.
I hope this is wrong though, it would be nice to view and check my reservations online instead of waiting for the paper confirmation to arrive in the mail.

That used to be true, but with the new reservation systems (the merging of CRO and WDTC into DRC), I think you should be able to check the status of reservation online.

In fact, I had made my reservation over the phone, and had been able to check it online up until a few days ago when I encountered the same problem as everyone else.
 
Well, actually I was referring to information concerning this new system. (although I have not heard the term you are referring to, DRC--Disney Reservation System?)
I was told this or read this (sorry still can't recall) concerning the new system. It was when I tried to confirm my newest trip, which I just booked within the last, oh, two weeks maybe? The new system was already operational when I made my most recent(phone) reservations.

You know, it does say right on the "Existing Reservation" page that it is for checking reservations "made online".
I'm wondering if your being able to check it before was the glitch, or the not being able to check it now is the glitch! :)
Here's hoping it is the latter.
