Ok So we are headed to WDW next Saturday, and I have't packed or bought a thing yet.:scared1:
Am I in trouble LOL? This is my 6th trip, my 22 yr dd 6th trip,17yr dd 9th trip and my 19 yr dn bazillionth trip.

I've started a list of things to buy and so far the only thing on it is sun block and large zip lock bags. I am thinking of buying cereal or those cereal bowls that people mention for the room. And God help me I want a case of water bottles too, but i know that won't happen. Am debating if I want a fridge for the room.

I haven't checked the garage to see if we still have rain ponchos as daughter just moved home from college so who can get to the back of the garage anyway. I really should pull the luggage out too. I know this will be a low key trip, but man I do have to kick it into gear pretty darn quick!!! Every one has had haircuts, dog is going to df house for the week and house is in order to go. My oldest arrives home from out of state visit with boyfriend next Friday and I am working until 5:30pm Friday. I think my only saving grace is that we are staying in a hotel near the airport Fri night.

And to top things off I can't access my dreams unlimited itinerary to get confirmation numbers for dd plan. But I don't feel stressed or panicked go figure?

I am NOT a fly by the seat of your pants person I llike order. What the heck am I thinking? oh and think I can lose 15 lbs by next Saturday?

LOL

Have you considered having groceries delivered to your room? You can order water, cereal, and whatever else you need, that'll free you up to concentrate on the other stuff you have to pack. Place your order soon, though, if you're going to do it. We use Garden Grocer and they've been great.

Good luck, and have a great trip! :wizard: (I hate packing, too!)

I know this really is funny, because it just isn't me.

Packing will be a snap since it's summer here ,well today seems to be summer, we'll see what tomorrow's weather has in store. I'll get zip lock bags Monday afterwork and pack Thurs night.

Tell me more about garden grocer grocery delivery it sounds tempting if I can think of what to order besides cereal milk and water.

You place your order online from home. We get things like cereal, fresh fruit, milk, bread, peanut butter and jelly, yogurt, snacks, and a case of water. You can even order wine and beer if you want (have to write in what you want under the "Comments" section at checkout and they charge you accordingly).

I like to be there when they deliver it, they call when they're on their way using a two hour window, and they'll take it up to your room. (Bell Services will accept it if you're not, but I've read mixed reports - there can be problems with things left unrefrigerated, etc.)

I think the cost is about $12, plus tip, but it pays for itself.

The only thing is that they can only manage so many orders so on busy days, will close to orders if they fill up, so it's best to order early. We've only used GG, but there are others as well.

Piece of cake... The DDs and I are planning to leave MD to drive down next Wed or Thurs if all goes well. You can ride out to Walmart with me cause I'll be buying most everything when we get there at this rate...:lmao:

I haven't packed a thing yet, neither has DD19. The younger DD8 will be fine - IF she can wear princess dresses all week b/c she has a full suitcase packed - only costumes in it - but assures me she's ready to leave today. :rotfl:

I still have to make sure DH can fly to meet us down there, make appts with his drs, and wait on test results. I haven't reserved his ECV yet, our first two nights in town, or the last night. To make matters worse, I'm staying on to camp with DD8 at FW a few nights and she has her eye on a new tent I'll have to go pick up and waterproof tomorrow instead of using DS31's that's been sitting in the garage for years and is reportedly "full of spiders" according to my little long haired girl... :scared1:

DB is watching the new puppy but we're on the wait list for the kennel we like to get a spot for the collie. DSIL offered to come feed the cats & walk the collie a few times a day but after reading the "sister's house is a slum" thread, I'm pretty sure we'll use the backup kennel if neccessary before handing over a key this year. Since I haven't packed yet, there's sure to be laundry everywhere by the time we throw it all in suitcases and finally roll out. Add to that my "ebay clutter" of stuff waiting to be listed, plus the 28 active auctions that'll need to end, be paid for, and shipped before I leave and chaos is sure to hit by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I think I need at least another week or two. How in the world did July arrive so quickly this year??? :laundy:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one behind and not terribly bothered (YET). Working full time definatley puts a damper on my social life. I also would like to stop at Home Depot to make those Lime green Mickey Heads LOL, but at this point my hopes aren't hight that this willl happen.

Dancemom03 if I catch a ride with you I would probably be writing the list on the way, so don't bother writing your list prior because you can just tell me and I'll write it for you. And you will be the only DIS er I will meet due to the lack of planning in making the LGMHs

I may get flamed, but ordering beer from Green Grocer is a definate. It will taste very good at the end of a long day. Oh and it would put me right to sleep.

List... You use a LIST???? :lmao:

LGMH... darn, there's another stop I've gotta make now before I pull out of town. We'll definitely need a sign for our campsite too.
 Oh wait... I remember seeing a home depot store off I-95 somehwere in VA... or was that NC? hmmmm...

Packing more than a day out from a trip is foreign to me - never saw the need. There are Walmarts and Targets at most of the places we visit and there is very little I can't buy there that I happen to forget.

We pack the day before, make a run to the store for anything missing (I am a list maker!), and head off to our trip!
