We are making our 3rd trip to WDW this June. We are a family of 3 with a (will be) 8 yr old boy. We are also traveling with 10 others (some 1st timers). My little family of 3 has done all the rides, character meet and greets, and character dining. This time we are watching Fantasmic! and I was able to book for Tomorrowland's Fireworks Dessert Party! :thumbsup2 What are some WDW must do's or eats? Suggestions please! :confused3

Will the group be splitting up or together all the time?

Everyone will have a different opinion of what is a 'must do.'

For my family, we have 3:
1) HDDR
2) POTC every night we are in the MK
3) Dole Whip Float

They have become traditions to all of us...

For us:

Kilimanjaro Safari
Living With The Land
Crushin Gusher

Everything else is optional :)

Our must do's each visit are:

Sci Fi Dine in Theater at HS
An afternoon of shopping and eating at DTD
Some of our other favorite meals have been at Garden Grill in EP and 1900 Park Fare (dinner) at GF

Attraction Must Do's:

At MK: Small World, Splash Mountain
At HS: Toy Story Mania
AT EP: Gran Fiesta Tour, Soarin, Test Track
At AK: We do most all attractions (if you go to this park you will won't have a problem fitting what you want to in during the day)

Most of these are based off our kid's preferences. :) You will love Fantasmic! It's a great show!

I second the HDDR! We went in June 2012 and my kids still talk about it. It's on our list for next time for sure. We went back for a quick trip last summer and my son did the Pirate's League at the MK. It's like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but you get made over into a pirate. My soon to be 8 year old son loved it! I think it cost around $40 and even adults can do it.

Thanks for the suggestions! The group will be together about half of the time. It is made up of ages 7 to 58. We have done the Pirate League in 2011. I am looking into the HDDR. :scratchin Every time we go I say I will try the Dole Whip and have yet to do so. This year it is a must
