Has anyone ever used the kennels? I know that there is one by the Magic Kingdom and one by AK. How does it work? Do you reserve a spot for your entire stay before you leave or do you go everyday?
Are the kennels clean? Staff friendly, etc.? I am soooo protective of my dog and I want to make sure that he is in safe hands.
I understand that you have to visit them a few times a day which is great. Is there a place where you walk them around?

Any info/pics would be great.

Thanks,

They are excellent. With a dog I would recommend EPCOT--then you at least have the option for them to walk your pup for a small fee. I believe it is $2.50 per walk--we used it once--and it was still cheaper than leaving the dog at home in a kennel.

Ressies are not accepted--it is first come first serve....but they do have LOTS of space. I had asked about busy times and they said that they are quite busy but not necessarily full.

There are spots to walk your dog--clean up rules apply ;)

I agree with Lisa regarding the Epcot Kennel. It was much more convenient to have them walk our dog a couple of times a day. We actually found it was better if we didn't go back to do it, and allowed them to, because Cassie would get so upset when we'd go to leave her again to go back in the parks. We stayed offsite so we just picked her up at the end of the day. If you're staying onsite, obviously you can't do that (unless you're staying at the campgrounds). We no longer bother with the kennels (and just leave her in our hotel room) since we come back for an afternoon break, but we did have a good experience with the WDW kennels. You have to have all your dog's shot records (including Bordetella). They are very strict about that. All 4 parks have a kennel, as well as FtW.

We have used the kennel at MK. It was great but we had to come and ex the dogs a couple of times a day. The EPCOT dog walking service sounds great.

The kennels are nice. Be sure to have all of your shot records up to date. Disney is very picky on this.
