The next day, a Sunday, would be my first day with Chris. We planned to try to get in the princess breakfast at the castle that morning, so he arrived at my room bright and early- and a bit surprised to see Jillian in my room. hehe. As Chris and I headed for MK, we arranged to meet up with Jillian at 11:30 by the Cinderella fountain.

Twice in the past, I've been able to get into the princess breakfast easily without PS because of being a party of 2, but sadly, this year they've started cracking down and only allowing PS people through the gates before 9am. By the time we got in, it was too late and no seats were available. Oh well....at least I've done the breakfast before. On the bright side, we were able to get on 2 or 3 attractions with very little wait- even Pooh. We ended up getting a little bite to eat at the recently renovated Main Street Bakery. It looks very nice- alot roomier.

Chris works in character wardrobe at MGM, so many of the characters know him well. As we walked around to the castle entrance, Mickey and Minnie led a buncha people up around the other side and we got there about the same time. Suddenly, Mickey looked right at us and proceeded to point to his eye, then his nose, then to Chris. That's character speak for "I know you!" LOL.

Of course, we had to go back and visit my old haunt- Tomorrowland. It was a funny feeling to be back there where I spent so many hours working last year. There were a few CMs I knew who were still there and they remembered me too which was nice.

Something odd happened while we were in the Hall of Presidents (one of about 2 things at MK I'd never seen). Towards the end, I suddenly started to feel ill, nausia. We walked around a bit, heading towards our meeting spot with Jillian, but the nausia wouldn't go away even after she joined us. I sat down on the floor in Tinkerbell's Treasures, and a nice CM offered me some water. (this happened twice during the trip- again the next day in Epcot.)

When the feeling still wouldn't go away, I reluctantly agreed to go lie down in the first aid station. I felt really bad that I ended up being sick for the few hours that I had to spend with Jillian before she had to go, but she and Chris were really sweet about the whole thing. They're both wonderful friends and kept me company while we were in there. Jillian had to leave so we said our goodbyes and promised to meet up when I return next year. Shortly after she left, I got a personal visit from the mouse himself which was a great surprise.

I still wasn't feeling too well after 2 hours there, but I wanted to catch the parade, so we left and wondered around a bit. After the parade, which I liked a lot but not as much as the magical moments one, I decided I had to return to the hotel room. (the heat and the crowds didn't help.) I was really upset about the whole thing. My first full day back at Disney and I'm feeling too bleah to enjoy it! Chris and I spent the rest of the day just hanging out in my room. I had some pasta from the food court for dinner but still didn't have much appetite.

sounds like alot of people still know you.....isn't that fun

Sorry to hear you wear sick, AB:(

So Mickey came in the First Aid Station? How cool:D

Thanks for the post!
