WDW in October

I booked a 4 night stay at SSR yesterday for October 16-20 (a girls only trip ). Iv'e never been to WDW in October and wondering what the crowd levels will be like and what type of weather to expect...

I booked a 4 night stay at SSR yesterday for October 16-20 (a girls only trip ). Iv'e never been to WDW in October and wondering what the crowd levels will be like and what type of weather to expect...

We have gone the last 3 years in October and had very good weather. Nice during the day and comfortable at night. The crowds are somewhat low however the Wine and Food fest at Epcot does get busy on the weekend. You'll miss the holiday with your dates so it should be all good. Have fun.

We were there last October and it was beautiful......not too crowded....we also went to Sea World and had a great time there too!!!

This trip is going to be such a treat for us as we've only visited WDW in June or July!

I can say that it is DW and mine absolutely favorite time at WDW. We have been there many times in Oct.

The weather is great and the crowds aren't bad at all. As has been said, F&W makes the weekends, particularly Saturday evenings, pretty crowded at Epcot. We still go to Epcot on the weekend anyway. We are just very sure that we make our ADRS well in advance.

The weather is great and the crowds aren't bad at all. As has been said, F&W makes the weekends, particularly Saturday evenings, pretty crowded at Epcot. We still go to Epcot on the weekend anyway. We are just very sure that we make our ADRS well in advance.

We have reservations at SSR but are waitlisted for BWV or BCV so we'll be able to walk to Epcot to get a few fiesta margaritas!

The wait times for the bigger rides were sometimes 90 minutes. We really enjoyed MNSSHP. We were able to get on all the rides we wanted with little to no wait and the parade was awesome! I would definitely go again in October. Have a great trip!

My favourite season at WDW is October - in any DVC resort! MNSSHP plus Food & Wine . . . crowds at a minimum . . . couldn't want anything more!! Went last in 2007, planning again for 2009. You will love it!

You will really enjoy the weather then...we use to go during summer but no more. It's a little chilly in the morning then around 11am it's starts to warm up but not as hot and humid as in summer plus you don't have those nasty afternoon thunderstorms

hahah me too! I have 3 planned already over the next year and we just got back 2 weeks ago. I love DVC!

I hadn't thought about MNSSHP...are there discounts for DVC members or AP holders? That sounds like fun!

We're headed there in October, too. The only thing I'm worried about with the weather is it's the peak of the hurricane season. Has anyone ever been there in October when a hurricane hit?
